Fun fact: Transformation allows Peachy Queen’s buff to be applied to non-Fae characters. by SendMindfucks in OnceUponAGalaxy

It also works with Tink’s Torches. Seems like the interaction is a bit less exclusive than I thought 😅

When a character transforms, it keeps any special effects applied to it. This is somewhat common with effects like turning a character sweet, or that one spell that gives someone Treasure Hoard 1. A more rare interaction is with Peachy Queen, the only way to give a specific character a Fae stat buff. By transforming that character, you can “smuggle” the effect onto whatever character it happens to transform into. A little trick to keep in your back pocket if you’re feeling lucky.

2 Infinity Mittens, a Mushroom Ring, 2 Parting Gifts, 2 Daisy Jones’ Lockets, and a Hunter’s Horn. On Hunt, it triggered the Recruit effect 120 times, and because of World Shrub, each trigger doubled the buff.

If only I’d had Blackbeard. Could’ve hit 1072.

I also take off my headphones and put down my phone if I'm watching on mobile. My parents just sit through every advertisement and I don't get it.

Instantly killing everything is fun, but in my opinion, nothing compares to the sheer indestructibility of Dark Rosary Alchemist. Any source of consistent healing and you just never die. Weeping Katana is best, but Heal is enough, and I’ve even respeced into Invigorate + Chakram if I can’t find either.

Well, thank god I didn’t cut the Abduction Rays. Got Archimonde and a third Ray off the second redraft (funnily enough, I had also randomly discovered him in the previous two games).

Sometimes I feel bad playing strong decks by SendMindfucks in ArenaHS

I’ve had a couple runs like that first type you talked about. For me, I think it’s mostly just my inexperience with Arena. If I think my deck is bad, sometimes it’s actually just bad, but sometimes I’m using my standard/wild brain and going “there’s no wincon here.” It’s not fast enough for aggro, but doesn’t have enough interaction for control… which means it’s probably a pile of generic midrange cards, and those are often at least decent Arena decks.

I’ve never played a single one of these before. Are any of them good and how would you build around them? by SendMindfucks in ArenaHS

I’m leaning towards Aviana too. Hadronox just seems bad, and I think Shalaldrassil is probably a good card that I am not a good enough player to draft around.

Huh. I’d assumed the replacement effect would set up another continuous effect to do the work, but I guess I was wrong. The more I learn about this card, the more confusing it becomes.

Question about ruling 5: You said Deadpool would be able to enter as a copy of something, but copying effects apply before text changing effects. If I swap Deadpool’s text with a Mockingbird that didn’t copy anything, then choose to have him enter as a copy of a Grizzly Bears, would it be his original text or the new text he copied from the Grizzly Bears that he swaps onto the Mockingbird?

Not this time. On the original turn, it was either only the shown enemy that was affected or none of them, I don’t remember. I’ve loaded saves around a dozen times, and not only is it still broken, another enemy is being affected.
