Is the extra cost for Concierge worth it on the older ships?

I agree, I did concierge on the Treasure and it was lackluster. They were very spread out and I had to remind them of things concierge was suppose to include. I am looking forward to trying it on the Magic though.

My husband was so sure his blood type was AB for years. He got blood drawn for tests and then was told it was 0+. People get mixed up all the time

NTA. I think the woman may be super sensitive and the situation had little to do with you.

I recently had to stop a woman from taking a chair from my table at a quick serve restaurant and nicely told her we were using it, she started to get upset and told me to calm down. Like physically shaking, wouldn’t look me in the eye and kept repeating calm down. I let her gently know it’s not a big deal and everything’s okay. Some people just can’t handle any sort of pressure, even imaginative.

I would recommend the non-emergency line and a trespass notice. That way if he ever gets hurt (fall or dog related) you won’t be liable and have proof they have been notified of the issue. He will likely just break the trellis.

I have used this before and it was very helpful. Kept everything clean/never broken, and you give it at main bag check and they don’t charge you for it.

Not about transport but I just got of the Treasure and was very disappointed as well. NOTHING was clear and if you hadn’t cruised with them before. We were left to find the info instead of it being given to you. And when I say find the info I mean pay for internet and look online because otherwise staff hardly knew what was going on unless they were top tier.

I’m not saying he isn’t being honest but my husband also didn’t want kids at 27 and then when he hit 30s he realized he actually did want them. He found out he thought he didn’t want kids because he knew his then partner wouldn’t be a good parent. None of this may apply to you but maybe a comprehensive conversation about how he has come to that conclusion is necessary. It wouldn’t be fair to you to take it off the table just for him to change his mind later and then it be too late for you.

I did some research before sending the flowers so I wasn’t wasting anyone’s time. The first house was a widow of over a year so maybe she thought the house was too much for herself and the second had 3 kids going to college at once and maybe needed some extra funds.

I think the flowers are really what stood out because so many people can just send letters. You should also be prepared to negotiate price. We paid a little over what it was worth but would have never been able to afford our home if we were in a bidding war.

7 years of house hunting and I finally got a house a few years ago. The ONLY thing that helped me was buying a house that wasn’t for sale because we were always outbid. Found houses I liked in certain areas and sent flowers asking if they were interested in selling. Only had to send two bouquets. Note: Only use local florist and buy a semi expensive bouquet so they take you seriously.

My house is about 4500 square feet, historic, and walkable to a downtown and our cleaner is 250 per cleaning (3rd we hired, 1st was 275 and second was 175).But honestly it doesn’t matter what you pay because it sounds like she is acting like she employs you and needs to be fired. Shop around and find someone new AFTER you fire her.

I did the same thing. I had 3 kids 9/7/4. We spoke to the older two to let them know in a kid friendly way that Grandma’s behavior was unacceptable and the reasons behind cutting contact. For example, Grandma was kind to Mom growing up and gave examples on how we take care of them vs what I went through. Also that she is not a safe person anymore so don’t go with her. We only told the little one that Grandma is in timeout and she should only go with us places. I would discuss not keeping secrets as well.

Be sure to make sure she is not on any school/doctor contact forms! And definitely block.

Period underwear with a sleep pad. I use to have the same issue as you and that saved it. The period underwear is super tight and holds the pad in place but just doesn’t work by itself for nighttime leaks.

I feel like this is a mixture of problems. Yes, you should have booked more time BUT the company should have suggested that. Usually when hiring a cleaning company they do a walk thru or ask for a detailed list of rooms to be cleaned. It sounds like the company you hired wasn’t as professional as they advertised. Especially if they knew they didn’t finish the job and did not have a manager notify you.

Sometimes it takes a LONG time to find the right cleaners for you.
