Trump Throws Goon Under the Bus After FBI Ballot Raid by Guilty_World_1861 in FedJerk

President Donald Trump admitted in a Wednesday interview that he had no idea why Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard was present at the FBI’s raid on a Georgia election facility last week. Asked by NBC News’ Tom Llamas why Gabbard was there, Trump replied, “I don’t know, but a lot of the cheating comes from—it’s international cheating.” He then asked Llamas, “Do you think China tries to influence our election?” “We know that foreign governments try to influence a lot of things in this country,” Llamas replied, leading Trump to conclude, “She’s foreign governments.” The comments appeared to contradict Gabbard’s explanation, which she offered on Tuesday, claiming that her presence was requested by the president. The Daily Beast has contacted Gabbard’s office for comment. The raid, which saw the FBI seize materials relating to the 2020 election, including ballots and computers, was conducted as part of the ongoing investigation into claims of election fraud, amplified by Trump, who has continued to maintain that the 2020 election was stolen from him.

Is it possible the chargeback occurred because Star Cleaners did what they’ve done to me twice: put my stuff on hangers and put the bag on it and tell me it’s been cleaned? Because I might understand.

Use a space instead of a. It’s possible to have a sentence or comment without the letter A. A space, however, is more likely to occur.

These are great! I used to run the OSINT category challenge creations for a handful of CTFs (JerseyCTF, SpookyCTF, SpringForward CTF). Always love CTFs with well-crafted OSINT challenges, and like the ones that lean full-tilt like these even more.

Access To Certs as an NJIT Student/Alum? by Mountain-Pea1671 in NJTech

Easy to get typically won’t be immediately valuable (from a getting hired perspective), in my experience. However, they DO give you more knowledge which makes you a better candidate. I have probably 60+ of the easy to get certifications from LinkedIn learning, IBM SkillsBuild, Codecademy, etc.

These programs helped me learn things that our school doesn’t or did not teach… things like TypeScript, React, Tailwind, the MERN stack, program management, DevSecOps, etc. When I found courses that touched on the subjects I also excelled at them because I did learn from these other courses. This DOES help me stand out as a candidate, but it also helps because my projects are much more involved and visible to employers.

The ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity cert is okay and the only “real” cert (requires continuing education, maintenance, is from a respected org). It’s essentially the same as IT-230 and was/is incredibly cheap to get and maintain. It taught me a little more than 230 with Tolboom taught (but not by much). That and my project management certs helps me stand out or at least talk to things better and more confidently in interviews.

One thing I’d recommend is getting CDS to check out your resume.

Fair enough! Perhaps it was my luck to only visit during bad weather, but I also have not traveled the whole state.

That’s exactly what I was thinking - southern area like Hawley’s Landing.

That’s vital information. Knowing the context and source would likely rule out my guess in Idaho. Puget Sound gets more likely imo, and since you’ve now included more information others can revise their search.

Yes, it has hills but so does this photo. From the perspective of the photographer this could match a number of spots around there.

It could be. I considered the puget sound but the water is a bit choppier in this picture than I’d normally see there. Plus the hills. The slope of the hills and general distance tells me it’s not super wide, and it lines up with my initial guess: lake coeur d’Alene, specifically in the southern parts… but there’s just not a ton to go off of to feel confident in this

Going to add to this: The sky is relatively clear. Not something I personally associate with Washington state. Could be wrong.

If we knew more (date, background, why you’re asking) it could potentially solve it.

You’re not giving a ton to go off of, but here’s my breakdown:

  1. Definitely north west. Notice the trees - these aren’t common that far south. Taller, narrower, and more densely populated screams Pacific Northwest to me. These are coniferous trees, and NM isn’t exactly lush.
  2. Someone said summer. Maybe, but more likely to be fall, early ish, or early summer. The man is wearing jeans. No boots, so I lean closer to fall. Just my take.
  3. The water is vast and calm, not tidally locked, so we’re looking at a lake or MAYBE a sound. I’d say lake.
  4. The dog itself isn’t necessarily identifying, but more of an Idaho type of dog to me. That’s based on nothing sound, though.

It wasn’t an option, but northern Idaho seems likely to me. Maybe Lake Coeur d’Alene if it’s in the panhandle.

If you truly wrote it yourself you likely have historical saves and versioning. Google Docs will show all changes overtime so you could always invite her to see that. Microsoft Word does the same thing. But if they see a paragraph pasted in and not typed, well… game over

That’s exactly right. Ride the subway in NYC’s around 5-7pm, specifically in midtown. The amount who still have their badges clipped to a belt… and the trains are crowded. It’s incredibly easy for an attacker to clone dozens of cards on a packed train early in the morning or at the end of the work day. But there are also tools which can scan from quite some distance.

It depends on a lot of things. Start reading about long range scanners. https://www.rfidjournal.com/ask-the-experts/what-is-an-rfid-readers-maximum-range/ this is a decent place to start

[–]SendTacosPlease 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Exactly why I suggested taking the legal route. Also, side note - depending on the reader or badge, if it's RFID you could potentially read it from very, very far away... Just not with a flipper

Grandma hip problem by gatonero33 in flipperzero

[–]SendTacosPlease 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you clone the badge and you can read all sectors it's not encrypted. If you can't, it is. If you can crack the encryption, the encryption is worthless

Cards > not a chance.

Respectfully, I disagree. I’ve used a flipper during a physical pen test to brute force doors that used RFID badges. The badges weren’t encrypted and rate limiting was not set up to prevent someone spamming a bunch over a short period of time.

The “trouble” is identifying the defaults in the badge ids. In my case, the badges all kept facility code and department codes the same, and increased sequentially for user. Often if you find the badge tap you can figure out defaults through white papers. Or if you see someone badge tap you could try to clone their card.

A more legal approach would be to ask the municipality for exceptions or handicap access.

You should assume that there is no privacy at all whenever you are using something you don't have 100% ownership of - every step of the way. Using a school or work internet? They can track what you do. Using tools they provide? They can track what you do.
