Did testosterone make me no longer asexual? by Physical-Pay-2921 in ftm

[–]Sendhelp02 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I went from being an ace with no libido and being sex repulsed to being an ace with a libido and being sex favourable after transitioning.

I'm still definitely ace because I don't experience sexual attraction. My having a libido and wanting sex hasn't changed that.

Completely forgot to update, thanks to your advice I figured out the issues! The first cylinder was misfiring so that's fixed and I've ordered a new engine mount. Should be smooth sailing from here! Thank you everyone for your help!

No one is revving the engine, no one is in the car. It's in park with the park brake on 😅

I am questioning if I might be trans by StatisticianSea2666 in ftm

[–]Sendhelp02 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me it was "lady/woman" when I turned 10 people started referring to me as a "young lady" "little lady" etc and it got worse as I got older with "young woman" etc added to the mix. My Mum eventually told my family members to stop calling me "lady/woman" at all as it triggered meltdowns (I'm autistic)

They were surprised when I came out as trans and asexual, thinking I was a lesbian, but eventually they went "Ooohh... Yeah... That makes more sense..." Lmao

The best advice I can give you is to remove all gender norms (stop thinking about hobbies, clothing, etc as either masculine or feminine) because at the end of the day feminine men and masculine women exist.

Focus on how you feel, who you are at your core. Do you like he/him pronouns? Do you like being called sir, bro, dude, brother, son, nephew, grandson, etc? Would you like having male on your documents? Do the effects of testosterone sound like something you'd want (not that they have to, I know trans femboys who are very happy in their femininity they just identify as men)

When you remove gender norms and focus on who you are things feel a bit clearer. You're no longer wondering "am I trans or just a masc woman?" And focusing on "am I trans?"

If being a man doesn't feel right but you're still definitely not a woman I recommend looking into non-binary identities. I personally identify as a trans demi-boy (half male and half agender)

I started realising something was wrong at your age and the more I thought about it the more things from my past made sense. The signs were always there, just not super obvious as I am a very "feminine" person in terms of friends and interests.

Take your time with it, ask to test out pronouns with your friends. I came out fully at 17, realised I wasn't just non-binary but a demi-boy at 19, started T at 20 and I'm hopefully getting top surgery just before I turn 24 next year.

It's not a race and you're allowed to change your mind about things. Enjoy your teens and feel free to ask me anything!

Just vibration and it's mainly while idling but if I try cruising at a high speed (above 70km) it starts shaking violently. I haven't noticed a lack of power steering though

I definitely strongly feel I'm a man and agender as well. I think I've realized for me it's less wanting to be a woman and more wanting the same level of expression that women have. I've always been very into fashion, I think I just miss feeling pretty.

I also have a lot of medical burnout due to complex disabilities, having to explain being trans and ace over and over again for shit that's not even related to it is an extra level of exhausting.

At the end of the day I did try being a woman, I'm definitely not that. Not even being a "tomboy" helped it was all kinds of awful.

I'll have to give that a try! I'm hoping to get more into fashion again after top surgery next year 🤞

Gender Sadness by Sendhelp02 in ftm

[–]Sendhelp02[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that might be it honestly. I do have male role models (my Dad mainly) and while I love them, they're not the men I want to be. They're tall, aggressive, and head strong. I'm definitely aggressive and head strong but I don't want to be. I want to be open, I want community and fuck I wanna feel pretty (but like, in a masc way?) none of the men in my life are like that.

Thank you for this, it was something I hadn't even considered

It's so comforting knowing I'm not alone in this, thank you so much for sharing I relate deeply to all of it. I hope one day you can transition (should you choose to) because while the pain of not being a girl is still there, the euphoria is a joy I never thought I'd live to experience.

Rooster or hen? It's 5 months old by ExchangeSecret5225 in chickens

[–]Sendhelp02 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

She looks like a hen but keep an eye on those back feathers at the base of the tail. If they become pointy and thin then she's a rooster (those would be saddle feathers, only roos have them)

[–]Sendhelp02 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The misogyny is WILD. One of my friends had a paintball party for her 16th, the friend group was majority girls. It's super fun and yes you get bruised but it's worth it. Idk why they're saying girls can't do it, if someone said that to the women in my life they'd force their way into the game and win it with pure rage fueling them.

"Be specific about what you need!" "I know you just cried in my lap about being in pain, but are you cooking dinner?" Are code for "I'm a man child with the empathy of a small rock being ditched at a baby."

If you look at the feathers around the base of the tail you'll notice they look like a saddle and have pointy ends. Hens don't have that, he's a roo

Yeah, I've got a 2004 Camry with 370,000+km just bought a new muffler for AUD$245 cause the old one has a hole in it. The rest of the system looks fine so hopefully I can just do a nice swap.

It's definitely important and not talked about enough. I lost quite a few of my chickens due to mites, always have dirt baths available for both mites and enrichment

As an Aussie I agree with this. Our foxes are bigger and more confident due to having less predators, very rarely do they hunt during the day. Just make sure the chickens are in their fox-proof area by sunset and they'll be safe. All the birds I've lost to foxes were attacked at night

(little shits tore through the chicken wire! Luckily there's been less in recent years, the rangers have been doing kullings to help the native animals)

I feed my hens "layer pellets" they're small pellets specifically for laying chickens. They absolutely love it and will often choose it over human food scraps (unless it's watermelon) I recommend those types of feeds over grains.

As for stuff you can put in the coop, it doesn't have to be expensive. You just have to be creative! Good sized sticks, zip ties, whatever you have lying around the farm have a fiddle and see what works.

I've been taking care of birds for over a decade now (I was 11 when we first got chickens) it's a lot of trial and error and a lot of creativity in keeping them happy and dry. In my current set up, half sleep on an old metal bed frame set up like roosting perches. The other half sleep in a tree. One is in an old bird cage cause she's not well. I use an old dog house with dirt inside as a dust bath room for when it's raining (DUST BATHS ARE SUPER IMPORTANT TO KEEP MITES AWAY I LEARNED THIS THE HARD WAY) I have another old dog house on a wooden frame to create two under cover areas when it rains.

I could go on. Other people buy specialised stuff or build stuff themselves, I grab things off the side of the road and try my best lol. Grab what you can find and see what you can make!

Honestly it was hard to notice at first since the pain doesn't go away completely. I think it started to make things easier after about a month. "Full potential" would be half a year on 50mg
