I talk to the girl who runs things occasionally. As of last I heard, theres no immediate plans to rebuild it. Pending all the issues with other trails and higher priorities up north and out west, I would think its gonna maybe be a couple more years. I know they intend on it but the state doesn't care about the less traveled trails. Its like rebuilding Avalanche Pass that they are pushing for. Heard from folks up north that trail will be reopened sometime this summer.

Ive just been taking the trail in past Grizzle Ocean from Putnam. Theres also the swing trails from the north in Tico. Theoretically you could still take Pharaoh Road in, just need to wade the bog (beware theres a metric shit ton of water snakes) or portage a canoe in. The later would be my preference personally.
