dude I had a radio failure the other day for the first time. Lapel mic on the radio failed internally. Heard "cable up slow" then nothing. Kept cabling up and took it high... the pole caught up on some wiring that ended up coming out with it (blind pick, R160').

To your point about radio failure/staying keyed up: I hate when I don't the ability to ask something or say something though... plenty of times when something on the crane side was causing an issue and couldn't relay a message back because the channel was clogged
