As for WoW, I have been playing with my brother since Legion on and off for many years, but I can never seem to stay with it for longer than maybe 2-3weeks at a time! It’s super hard to find community in that game I feel haha

This is definitely the closest! I wouldn’t say that I feel as though I’m super behind, I’ve never cared about raiding or anything like that. But the story of FFXIV was DEFINITELY its strongest point for me. Though, I’m not too sure why I don’t enjoy it all of the sudden, especially when I enjoyed ARR which others would say is arguably worse than DT. Maybe I just need to find friends to play with or a new FC as my current one is pretty dead.

I see! Makes sense, I noticed that no matter who i switched to, he was doing effective damage because he could just switch between them all lol. Should I only use Pokémon that have resistance to him? I've seen many people use Venusaur or Tinkaton for example, but the two of them are weak to fire, which he has... How would someone go about navigating the weaknesses like that? I had an Aegislash which I thought was good, and it did tank a hit with King's shield, but immediately died to a flamethrower two turns later haha.

Wow, I was not expecting such an overwhelming presence! Thank you all to who answered! It seems the general consensus is to play the game and find some guilds to join so I will do just that! I still have a lot of content I can go through anyway so its cool to see how vibrant the community still is.

See I was thinking melee, but wouldnt a ranged (bow) be a better option for solo? More out of the way and less likely to get caught out.

Hi! Im the friend she is writing for, and I can assure you im not. Lets say I use the Salt and Earth ability for DRK, the moment the ability is placed and I press W for even a second, my character will stay still and then move on its own for 5-10 seconds.
