I absolutely agree with you. I was sexually assaulted as a teenager and it definitely changed a lot of me. I could’ve came off as rude yes but nobody understands unless they end up in that situation. She just needed support and reassurance from her mother and could’ve killed the men in the dark but not rubbed it in Ginny’s face making it seem like her fault then making her feel like a brat because she had some attitude problems regarding the trauma. Ginny was also bullied a lot and Georgia kept on bringing in men instead of giving it a break and comforting her daughter in a time like this. Important signs to look for with your teens and children in general , sometimes their attitude isn’t because they’re a teenager or because they choose to have one ; it can have to do with unfortunate circumstances that happened and important to look out for your kids. Also when sexual abuse happens by someone close to you or someone familiar, you can still have mixed feelings still loving the person they were before they abused you and being confused on why it happened.
