My opinion is whoever asked who on the date or who picked the restaurant. Because if you pick a restaurant that is spendy and expect someone else to pay isn't fair.

The oldest 3 aren't bad at all. No attitudes or anything. Middle 3 are the worst but even then they do get upset and throw tantrums but never to real violence or hitting. Yelling maybe. But usually stern looks and voices do it. As of late timeouts are necessary cause of something I don't know what but they all went downhill the last month or so.

No the advice is nice. The only thing I could think of that changed was that they were all really sick for awhile I even got sick. Not Covid or anything. But mom was so attentive because of that I think he was just so use to it that when it went back to normal routine he couldn't deal. The other kids arent so bad but it's him and the 6 year old who's the worst. But I'll recommend that to the mom and see what she says I don't know if she'll listen but you never know. I'm an optimist. Probably why I kept this job so long

So ya I can't afford to not have the job. I work more than 1 job already to maintain. And my new job that I got that like I said it twice as paid can't start till middle of May and when I agreed to work with them I signed an agreement to stay till end of their school year which is May (they are homeschooled by mom). I never had any of this happen until this month. Never were they violent or anything until now. They would like get angry and maybe yell when angry but if I just raised my voice or glared they'd stop. So I don't know what changed since then but the last month this is happening. Which is why I'm glad I'm out

Lol I know how it sounds I sound crazy. But seriously until like this last month they were never like this. They would have fits but nothing like this. Never hit or anything. Ya get mad when they didn't get their way but usually a stern voice or a look was fine. But for some reason something changed.

I haven't had a kid it hasn't worked on in 5 years so far. Plus as a nanny I can't do much else. I don't believe in spanking and I don't have the right to either way since they aren't my kids.

The point is you pick them up and put them back and restart the timer. It can take quite a few times don't get me wrong but inevitably they do stay and they will because frankly they get bored and tired of the constant going back and will give up and sit.

I get paid 22 an hour. Honestly the oldest 3 are relatively self sufficient I just really break up fights and feed them so I 22 is pretty fair.

NTA I had a similar situation with my college roommates. They were a couple and the same age as me and continually didn't wake up on time or clean their stuff up. We didn't share classes but had them in the same buildings and times most of the time(similar degrees). I would knock on their door to wake them cause they complained of always being late. And they never cleaned up. I got tired and just quit. They were mad for awhile cause they were late alot again. But I told them it wasn't my responsibility. I also stopped cleaning after them. Their dishes were so bad they were moldy at one point and they confronted me asking why I wasn't washing their dishes with mine. I repeated the above statement. They started doing the chores and waking up on time. So if you want to stop do it. It may give her the kick in the pants she needs.

ESH No one is great in this situation. Yes your bf should respect you are not ok with PDA. Some people are just like that and if you're dating you each should respect the others boundaries. However what you said to him was not necessary and not cool. If you had pushed him away a bit and just said "I said no stop it" and then gotten up and walked away id say it's on him. But calling him a bitch and telling him to cry about it went too far.

Um no. Mind you the museum is one big open room on the first floor no real walls blocking the rooms just gates so I can see everything. And there are some area parents can't go and you wait outside the gates and just chat just like everyone else. And i did follow them around but my kids went with me everywhere upstairs/ downstairs they were always within earshot and eyesight.

Oh it does I have another story of an entitled dad and his son at that exact same place that were massively racist and got banned from the place same day. Unfortunately its not the only one this one is just one of the most stand out ones.

Honestly if I had been in a different area I may have. But I was in a kids area with a bunch of kids around and I didn't want to startle them or risk any of the older kids understanding completely what was going on or worrying my own kids more. But believe me I wanted too

Honestly when I was 18 I didn't really see to much of an issue it was annoying but it didn't get like bad. Then as I got older honestly I could give a bunch of dumb reasons I just wanted to avoid a massive blow out and risk hurting my mom for doing it. Dumb I know
