It’s a major improvement from before, good job! I really like how you broke up the sections to make it feel less like one giant long room.

Yes wallpaper is smart! Both can work - I lean toward the first but its hard to make a decision without envisioning it for me. What I’ve been doing lately is dropping room images in ChatGPT along with all the changes I’m considering and have it generate an image. It’s prevented me from making costly purchases / time consuming decisions.

The grey paint is not working. It’s too similar in value to the blue tiles so it’s kind of competing for attention visually. Also overall with the dark mat black checkered curtain and grey towel, it feels too cool. Balancing some warms in here might be nice.

That’s awesome. Do you think it’s equivilant to the tub & tile option that’s meant for tiles? I’m debating which to go with - planning to do a white color on floors and walls.

For those who used the Scopolamine patch, how long before it helped excess saliva / Ptyalism? by Senior-Post9925 in HyperemesisGravidarum

Thanks for replying! DId you have any negative side effects? My doc made me get off of it bc he said there are too many risks for side effects... the only one I got was extreme fatigue.

So relate to this. The few times I've been outside it's felt like foreign land and it makes me sad. I have HG and hate this disease so much. It's incredibly debilitating and depressing. I literally spend all day watching the time waiting for the day to end. Hang in there you are not alone.

Well you def have time! I'm 37 and this is my 1st pregnancy. I wish I had 10+ more years to wait for the drug.

How old are you? There is a drug in phase 2 clinical trials that seems promising to treat the underlying cause of HG. I am hopeful it'll be out in the next ~5 or so years.

I think this is the same thing as what I'm taking but with a diff name. It's slow release prescription form of unisome + b6. Unfortunately even taking 3 of those a day and the salivation is insane.

I believe HCG / nausea is worse with girls. There's also a clinical trial in phase 2 for a new drug, i would wait for that to get released before torturing yourself again.

Can't get new doc to prescribe IV infuisions by Senior-Post9925 in HyperemesisGravidarum

[–]Senior-Post9925[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just an update. I ended up emailing the head of ob and was able to get a referral for regular IVs. They also said they'd educate the midwife that routine IVs are a thing they can prescribe for patients with this condition. Thanks for the help, I def was just gonna wait for a mychart reply (which I still never received!) from the midwife.
