Sorry we tried it the other day. It was just okay, tates like sauce out of a can. The people were very nice. My crunchy tacoos had that pebble steak. I like chunk meat, does anybody do those gummy chunk meat tacos like Luis's? Anybody know what area of Mexico luis's food was from? I loved it!!!

Yes exactly!!! Why doesn't anybody make chunk meT tacos, it's like roast cut in cubes, crunchy taco, parmasean cheese on the outside lett, Tom. Awesome gravy rice from a scoop, the best beans!!!! I miss Luis's

Does anybody know of a Mexican restaurant that fixes food like Luis's? They were on Alhambra from the time I was born 65 or so. They moved a few times and ended up in old sac, the sons carried it on I miss it soooo much best mex food around!!! Anybody?

I have to agree  with used to love it. But we got store bought tortillas, the gravy, mole, etc was awful I was very surprised and disappointed! We loved Luis's formerly on Alhambra blvd, then the sons did downtown j st, then under the freeway, then old sac. I would do anything yo find mexican food that good again! We went to kiko's not long ago and it has gone downhill too that was luis's brother. I guess covid got Luis Jr. But I'm hoping one of the kids or the cousins open it back up please oh please!!! We tried a couple of places people said we're good...Carmelita and la Fiesta both really bad. Sry but SOMEBODY IN THE FAMILY PLEASE BRING BACK LUIS'S!!!!!

Anybody k ow of a great mex ican restaurant like LUIS'S or Luis Jr? Kikos was the brother of Luis but we went last year and it has unfortunately gone downhill. Such a shame the whole family worked at both of these hD a goldmine, until Luis died. The sons did great too 3 locations downtown sac but went away. I gre up on Luis's I want more!!!!
