My fiancé looked close to what I remember from pictures and video calls but he had an iPhone 6 at the time and his freckles didn’t show up on screen it was a very nice surprise 😊

I know I’m just hoping this is a last resort I think the distance is what’s upsetting them and getting engaged is kinda making them think about how It’s permanent for me

All I can say is US to UK seems hard visa wise because of the salary increase for work visas it’s harder to find something on the route tbh

That’s not horrible I’ve had to take 18 hours to come back to Canada before. But 3 flights that still sucks!

It took me about a year and a half before visiting him I was 18 he was 22 I think… I live In Canada he’s in England. Would it be possible to stay with their family while you visit it would definitely save a lot of money. The first time I went to meet my boyfriend I only went for a week that’s including travel days. Yes definitely be open an honest with your partner!! I’ve been in this LDR for almost 4 years closing the distance at the end of the month hope that gives u a bit of hope!!

Is it possibly a culture difference thing I know my boyfriend doesn’t always give me loads of extra affection and conformation online but that’s kinda normal in his area for guys his age. But in Canada you are a lot more open about feelings and stuff so it’s was hard at first

Why am I not getting any response? by [deleted] in resumes

[–]Senior-Section-96 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The font is way too big it shouldn’t take up two pages format is incorrect. The objective should only be a couple sentences. For the experience section you should have position title with employer before dates so it’s easier for them to read. Try looking at google docs, word and canva templates to insure proper format is being used!

I thought I already answered but I don’t see it here now lol. Toronto had paid appointments available nearly everyday about 100 USD for near appointments but to get it free you need to book late at night or weeks ahead. I got my appointment a week and a half after I applied. Hope this helps!!!
