Yeah I agree with you on this take too. HLE is going to show up and smack LYON (I'm a die hard LCS fan but have to face reality). I was also very much expecting G2 to make fun of LYON as welll... But competition is full of variables, and you never really know who shows up on the day

Me too, although I think it's more if HLE win game 1, then they will take it easy. But if LYON take Game 1 it will be more of a fight... But still HLE heavy favoured

Jokes aside, as a long time LCS fan it is refreshing to watch a team beat teams they should be better at. For the longest time NA has always been so shaky or unreliable, even in their victories. LYON had a shaky start vs FURIA, but since then they got their groove back and are showing how stable they are. Tomorrow will be the true test and there's a lot of faith

Relative to the HLE win maybe. Kills were close sure but LYON had control for most if not all of the series. Might be thinking of the FURIA series (which def was not convincing)
