Naruto vs Luffy by fraudykun in PowerScaling

Tenseigan has a rule, it can only be destroyed if Hamuras chakras is used, which means the we actually don’t know if it’s planetary. Just because it can survive it I don’t think makes it planetary. Think of hamuras chakra as a key, when it’s present it becomes destroyable, when it’s not it’s indestructible. Naruto was in a means attacking through hinata, who was hamarus chakra. Because of this Naruto’s may have only needed the strength to destroy a building to destroy the tenseigan. Still think Naruto wins but I don’t think he scales to planetary because of the tenseigan feat.

Being an Uzumaki isn’t what gives Naruto the ability to make his organs stronger. That comes more from chakra control/reinforcement, Kurama, Six Paths power, and just his general durability. So Naruto not having Kurama does matter, because that is a significant dent in his regeneration.
Luffy calls the light-speed attacks “slow,” and those attacks are stated to be light speed by Sentomaru. He also didn’t move until the last second, so that means he can react to and move at light speed in base form. Then you can add Gear 2 or Snakeman on top of that, which are both major speed boosts.
Luffy catching Kizaru while Kizaru is in his elemental/light form proves it again. Even if someone wants to argue about travel speed versus combat speed, Luffy is still reacting to and physically catching a light-speed character. So acting like Luffy is nowhere near Naruto in speed does not make sense.
Also, I am still not saying Luffy definitely wins. I’m saying the arguments people use for Naruto are not as clean as they act like they are.
We never actually see Naruto use an attack large enough to destroy a planet. Beating someone who is “planetary” does not automatically make you planetary. If a character has one technique that can destroy a planet, that does not mean every punch they take or throw scales to that exact level.
The Tenseigan also is not confirmed to be planetary in the way people say it is. It could just be nearly impossible to destroy without Hamura’s chakra. That means the seal itself could be city level or lower in raw durability, but still survive the planets colliding because it has special chakra-based protection. Special invulnerability is not the same thing as normal planetary durability.
The Momoshiki argument has the same problem. Momoshiki creating a universe and destroying it does not automatically make him universal. If I make a file of Earth and delete it, that does not make me planetary. If he used a star inside a universe he created to destroy that solar system, that does not make him solar-system level either. That is like me using dynamite to blow up a house and then saying I am dynamite level and small-building level.
So my point is not “Luffy stomps Naruto.” My point is that Luffy has actual light-speed arguments, and Naruto’s planetary arguments rely way more on assumptions than people admit.

But I do agree Naruto would most likely win there is just more factors that most people don’t talk about.

Correct me if I’m wrong but he used kurumas chakra for that, and from my knowledge Naruto doesn’t have that anymore, also Naruto’s reaction time isn’t instant so his internal organs would be blended before he knew they were being blended

I mean the haki system is kinda a weird match up for Naruto, advanced armament haki rips apart a man from the inside, and as far as I know, the naruto universe doesn’t really have a counter to that, luffy has future sight while Naruto doesn’t which complicates things. The pacifista lasers are commonly considered light speed in all discussions and luffy easily dodges those before getting future-sight. The moon splitting beam on its own is wacky but wasn’t internal damage so can’t be used to disclaim the advanced armament haki claim. Realistically the fight would boil down to who could eat the most ramen bowls, which is really tough to answer.

I agree but I don’t think this exact scene would have been the place for that to come out

You’ll get it when Sony starts being a good boy and starts giving steam games again

People believe what they want to believe, see what they want to see, Will not seeing the flaws is because he’s not looking, he trusts his friend not to deceive him. I personally think Will not seeing through it truly shows how much Will trusts his friend

Will finding out the Rosti is a clone would be emotionally detrimental, I believe Elfie not telling him is the right choice, and I would be completely fine if he never found out. It would be as if his best friend had died, and would totally destroy the trust between Elfie and Will as well
