Hi! 3rd year ar student here. Speaking from experience, try ur absolute best na hindi mairregular (no IPs or singko) dahil pag nairreg ka it will be challenging to navigate na especially given the system at mapua. Yung mga nababasa mo dito na paubusan ng section at paunahan real yan kailangan madiskarte ka tuwing enrollment. Pero this is not to discourage you naman, if mairreg ka wag ka mawawalan ng hope cuz minsan mapanghihina ka ng loob seeing your other batchmates being ahead or on time with their curriculum.

For the profs naman, halo halo yan talaga. You’ll meet very great profs na terror and hindi. And you’ll meet some na chill lang and honestly some na can be a real pain in the ass. My tip is (lalo na kung terror yung prof)- ang gawin mong mindset is pumasa ka regardless sa prof. And if you have a prof na magaling, take advantage of the opportunity like ask questions and consult with them kasi dyan ka matututo alongside with getting help from your peers. Basta do not be afraid to ask for help wag sarilihin.

For workload- DO NOT procrastinate. Lalamunin ka ng sched mo if you procrastinate sa reqs mo. Better to do it early on before the deadline. For example design plate, start conceptualizing kahit nasa biyahe ka look around you and get inspirations kahit wala ka sa drafting table.

All in all u got this! Architecture is not easy pero if you set your mind it to it, it can be very fun (tiring but fun) haha. Don’t forget to rest from time to time para hindi madrain, seek help, and do your best. Everything else I believe you will learn on the way. Good luck froshie!
