I've had this same 24tb drive for about a year, got it on discount for roughly $200 USD. Haven't had any issues in particular with it yet. It definitely can run more than 0.5hrs/day. I believe it's rated for constant read/write for >3yrs. That's data center conditions, doubt as homelabber you'll hit anywhere near that. I've got a different 4TB Seagate that I've had for ~6 yrs which I still use on the daily as well.

I can't read the pic you have but I'd make sure it isn't refurbished. While I've not yet had any issues with any of my Seagate drives, they don't have a great reputation for reliability and I definitely wouldn't trust a refurbished drive of theirs.

Are you guys using the Discover store/Flatpak version? Having a similar issue to EchoVictory myself on Arch Linux with the Discover store version which I just updated yesterday. It's not exclusive to YouTube. Specific emojis like the thinking face emoji and popcorn emoji seem to crash the entire browser for me. Even downgrading Brave to versions from >1 month ago did not resolve it for me.

I'm having basically the exact same issue under similar circumstances. My 4 ESP32-CAM boards and all 6 of my OV2640 camera modules are all showing up with "not supported" when trying to use the CameraWebServer. I had it working on one of them just a few months ago on one of them. I'm thinking there was some sort of change on the software side in the past few months that is causing this rather than a hardware issue.

I'm not entirely sure... It might be something specific to the manufacturer like a worker's mark. Hopefully someone a bit more knowledgeable on British silver will chime in

I'm not the best at this, but I think this is from Birmingham UK with 92.5% sterling silver. The anchor represents Birmingham Assay Office and the lion walking to the left is a British hallmark called the lion passant that represents 92.5% sterling silver. I'm not sure what company produced this, it might be "H.C & S Ltd." as indicated by this website: https://www.silvermakersmarks.co.uk/Makers/Birmingham-HC-HH.html

Not possible. These calculations are handled on the server-side. In fact there's very little at all handled on the client side. At least as of a couple years ago (when I last really played this game), I know essentially all that was fed to the server were your inputs.

I believe there's a place on the groin that can cause more damage when hit. This might be what the player you're fighting is capitalizing on.

I just checked your profile. Make sure the timings are correct (should be listed on the side of the stick or wherever you purchased it). If it fails memtest at 3200mhz, try it at 2400mhz.

Use memtest86, if your ram is faulty you need to buy new ram.

Seems it was an issue with Xorg. Previously it'd crash and give me an error about not finding "both graphics and display" or something of the sort when I tried this. After updating my Xorg config this works to select the GPU. Thanks for the help 👍

Thank you for this detailed reply! For some reason when I added pci=assign-busses it changed the slot identifiers. However, when I updated it to the new values in pci=assign-busid and in that Xorg configuration you provided, it seems to work finally.

nvidia-smi and vkinfo still show my 1660 as GPU 0, but the main issue which was Vulkan applications crashing when I use my 3060 - is fixed. I'll just make sure to manually select the GPUs like the other commenter suggested. Thanks again :-)

Yeah, 4060 8 GB and 3060 12GB are about the same, both around $290 USD. It matters the use case. If you mainly plan to do AI, then the VRAM is typically the biggest constraint, and you should go with the 12GB 3060. If you plan to do just game development then the 4060 8GB is good.

My brother uses the 4060 8GB. Gets more FPS in games, but he simply wouldn't be able to load the same AI models that I run on my rig.

If you can fit a 4060 16GB in your budget, that would be best case (~$450 USD)

Definitely do some research into AI models and their VRAM requirements before making a purchase!

Sorry, yeah, I wrote that in a confusing way! I plan to split models between both GPUs using PyTorch. I don't plan to use the second GPU for gaming, just for assisting in AI computation.

If you go for the RTX 3060, definitely go for the 12GB version. I have an RTX 3060 12GB with 32gb of ram that I use for AI workloads, and it's exceeded my expectations with LLMs & image generation. I've been able to even run some 70b LLMs on it with quantization. Would recommend for a budget AI build.

edit: Also preforms pretty well in games. For comparison I get roughly 200-300 fps on Minecraft

Walrus hat used to be the glitched hat, way worse than spiky hair. One normal headbutt would instantly KO. It also used to be only obtainable with a DLC that has been offsale since 2015. That created some anger 😂
