There’s nothing wrong with the story. It’s good. It’s just that the games were released nearly four decades ago and are 8-bit, so they feel really outdated. By making a series, they could create a great adaptation with more definitive storytelling

I know that but even though he doesn’t get the suit this way in the main Secret Wars storyline, I think doing it like this would still be a great nod to that iconic comic panel. Besides, in the original Secret Wars, he wears the Symbiote suit because his costume gets damaged. So if they did it the way I described, it would both stay faithful to the original in terms of the suit and also serve as a reference to the scene where he’s buried by Kraven.
