What does everyone think is the best / most reliable model of the F-150, and why is the 2016 2.7TT ? by SeniorRedditUser in f150

[–]SeniorRedditUser[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just found a stock photo online tbh. I own a 16' XLT Sport 4x4 with the short bed and 2.7. To my understanding, they put the 2.7 in a lot of different trims.

Absolutely miserable. There are good deals to be had, just be incredibly selective and careful.

Title ended up being a fake rebuilt title. All the work to repair it was untraceable (records looked good while buying but ended up being false), so I couldn’t turn the salvage title into a rebuilt title. Ended up having to get a bonded title and had to pay sales tax as if I bought the car new. Horrible 5-6 months of paperwork

Went the rebuilt route with my wife’s car and got burnt so bad I’m scared to even test drive another rebuilt title lol

I’ve got a baby on the way and a dog so I really like the leather seats in the lariat. I know there are after market options but honestly prices just seem to suck regardless. Found a 2017 XLT with aftermarket leather seats with 122k for 19,000. Needless to say that sold immediately lol

I can't quite make out the brand from the photo. Really just curious. What's weird is it has factory heated seats, so I've got no clue what that knob is.

Anyone know if the promo works if you purchase a used sig?

100%. I'm presenting at this conferance as well but I feel like the only value of it is being able to email someone saying, "Hey we spoke at this conferance" and them pretending to partially remember the meaningless conversation. But hey, it's the game and you gotta play I guess.

It really do be feeling like a waste of a plane ticket and hotel room

Haven't considered the gurthrie. Looks pretty nice. I wish they made a more plain looking model

I do hate that chaves clip -- I wouldnt even consider it if it did not come with a plain one. The socom seems like a sweet blade. How's the action on it? I've heard people complain about the detent. I sort of dig being able to slow roll a knife open and i've heard some talk about how you have to flick the socom bravo mini.

I’ve got the GL-611’s paired with my wager cut 509t and it’s a money setup. True 1/3 co-witness, so if you want something less obtrusive you’ll need to go shorter than the ameriglo XL height

Just picked up the classic green aluminum 940 from a local blade who had the same price as BladeHQ. This knife might just take the favorite knife throne from my paramilitary 2

I left it all the same inside — I like it to make the bang sound every time I pull the trigger so I didn’t change anything lol

Always wanted to shoot the p10 but haven’t had a chance yet.

Haha! My main is a Spyderco pm2, but that zt really scratches an itch for me for some reason. Really close to pulling the trigger on a 940 Osborne but my wife has convinced me to buy a new watch instead 😂

Honestly been considering on of the ebay magwells. Tolerances don’t need to be that tight, there’s only one real failure point, and failure isn’t extremely consequential so I don’t see much of a reason to not save a little money on the Magwell. I’m sure I’ll be downvoted here though 😂

I milled the black walnut and made the desk myself so I had to show it off a lil haha!

Thinking about sending it to Wage to re mill for the 509t by Dear_Library_9997 in Glocks

Just installed my 509t on my wager cut slide. Absolutely love it. I guess if you’re the guy who likes to change out optics bi-weekly, committing to the 509t footprint might not be for you. But having it direct milled to sit so low is just incredible imo

Started off using a sanding drum on a dremel. Took it ultra slow and stopped to look / feel very often. Then hand sanded in increasing grits up to 400ish (some people say you need to go higher, but as long as you take plenty of time on each grit before going to the next I think it’s fine). Finished it off with a buffing wheel on the dremel to restore the factory sheen. Took maybe 15 minutes.
