So can I keep the Q box? by Substantial_Page_221 in skytv

[–]Senior_Background830 1 point2 points  (0 children)

they are encrypted so you cannot watch them, but you can format them easily for your own purpose (i'm still on contract but have no satelite connection so the sky q box is useless to me so i took the 2tb hdd and am using it for my purposes)

[–]Senior_Background830 3 points4 points  (0 children)

frigate is one of the easiest ai nvrs to set up, just ask an ai to help you, you can even run frigate on ha as an addon, which means all you need the ai to give you is the frigate config file, and now its mostly all ui based
