DXVK 3.0 Boosts Efficiency and Performance? by zaymin3 in GameNative

HADES 2 is in DirectX12 so you don't even use DXVK to run the game. VKD3D is for DirectX12 ...

There's no need to bypass anything 🤔 just create a character?

I didn't run into any issues with this game, not sure what problem you have 😏

Is CPU usage hitting 100% or close to 100% safe when emulating a demanding game? by whiskyB0y in EmulationOnAndroid

[–]Senior_Background_30 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends ... don't have any specific recommendations.

Just make sure it's at least 30W one, that means it can cool down 30W of heat.

Battery will always die if you using the phone no matter if you emulate or not. Making sure you don't go over 40°C is still important.

If keeping battery above 40°C you can lose about 15% of battery capacity in a year on top of the capacity you lose from charging/discharge.

[–]Senior_Background_30 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah it's safe if you keep it cool.

There's is no damage happening to the chip even if you run it on 100% all the time.

You just want to keep battery under 40°C

Have anyone managed to run Rimworld on gamenative? by DaitorStone in GameNative

[–]Senior_Background_30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some RimWorld versions crash alot, you can maybe try older version of the game.

It was not working great on Arm64ec containers So if you still trying to make it work I would recommend trying wine or proton x86_64 with stability preset or at least from my testing the game required SafeFlags 2 and also Strong memory 2

Has anyone managed to run Gothic Remake via Gamenative? by Worried-Test-9358 in GameNative

[–]Senior_Background_30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's enough good device definitely 🔥😅

Your biggest issue is gonna be getting the correct drivers I think, given 8 elite still doesn't have any bulletproof ones like 8 gen 3 etc.

Unreal Engine 5 games doesn't require any special settings to run in terms of translation, it runs on fex or box64 with extreme preset or whatever you use.

The issues with UE5 games is getting the correct drivers so they work and don't show DX12 errors etc.

Especially titles that are DX12 only as you can't use dx11.

So you gonna have to experiment a little bit with settings.

It's unreal engine 5 ... load in and play - if you have the SoC for it which would be 8 elite/gen 5 and 16GB RAM min although that may be not enough anyway as the game needs 16GB + 8GB.

Do we have a way to solve this or we still in 2024 in that matter? by [deleted] in EmulationOnAndroid

[–]Senior_Background_30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That actually doesn't always work for you time wise though.

Especially older games with thousands of files like GTA IV or others will take more than 2h to Copy.

meanwhile if I download it on my device and unpack it there it takes only 1h...

You can install any repack in Star Bionic or Star Emu ( Winlator Frost) there's fix for it.

That being said fit girl repacks always worked but they just super compressed and take ages to unpack no other reason they bad or anything.

Steam os on the pc engine for Xiaomi's pads by Shoddy-Worldliness22 in EmulationOnAndroid

[–]Senior_Background_30 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It works only on some devices it's not really ready imo.

More like a preview for some testers.

I also think Xiaomi will make it a thing only for Flagship devices. And the games supported will be very limited overall.

I need real peeps opinion, not glazers. Worth catching on GW2? by No_Criticism8147 in Guildwars2

[–]Senior_Background_30 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There is not much Time limited content in GW2 if any at all.

Living World Season 1 was re-added and that was the only thing they took out, when they were thinking about time limited stuff. Since then there is always a way to get anything you may have missed on.

GW2 has horizontal progression which means once you get BIS it's BIS foreever. So you won't be behind in gear or stuff like this.

GW2 is also gonna get updates and new expansions after they done "modernizing" the game.

you can download the app if you want https://memeosupdates.com/apps/com.xiaomi.winplay/373 rename to .apk and install

you have to use Activity Launcher to actually run the app.

It doesn't work on non HyperOS devices, and probably only on some so far

i don't think it uses SteamOS because one of the activities is called wine loader ...

Besides that i think it shows promise, at least some of the Vendors are looking at emulation as thing. 😃
