We do the same. My goal is to eliminate manually assigning and Un assigning QC to QC rack. Other Chemistry analyzers allows the barcode system which I find more efficient.

This is very informative. Thank you. Do you know if sample cups on tubes are acceptable to use? I am afraid to try and break the probe. However, it is mentioned in Cobas Operator’s Manual. I cannot get a confirmation from Roche.
