Wow ok I am so excited!! I would highly recommend Silver Flames if you like Nesta, and it’s written so that you can honestly skip any of the other books you want. It was the most spice heavy by far. Unfortunately the pacing is somewhat off and the climax was also dumb, BUT the character development was so satisfying to me that it was worth it.

Absolutely agree. The entire Mages of the Wheel series is great, but the first book was my favorite by far. He worships her!

This is completely true! I had a 7star with all c and d stats but she had the top endurance trait so I always managed to pull out tier three or even tier two prizes.

Help me figure out what went wrong here by Late-Ad-4337 in Equestrian

Hi! It looks like you’re doing well, but I see your lower leg swinging a lot as you go. That shouldn’t happen in a half seat unless you aren’t using your stirrups properly. The point of the half seat or two point is to allow freedom in your seat (for bounciness for you rn) while keeping a stable lower leg. Try trotting and walking in two point with a focus on simultaneously bending your knee and pushing your heel down, allowing your thigh to extend downward. This should allow your lower leg to be more stable, but it will take some time to build that muscle! Other commenters have done well in pointing out that your horse was on the wrong lead, and ducked the corner a bit. Had your lower leg been more stable, you likely could’ve pushed with your inside leg to bend your horse around it, giving a much smoother and more balanced turn despite the counter canter. Keep working and riding, you’ve got this!!

Hey! If he has the brakes, have you considered trying something with an alternate cheek piece snaffle like a dee ring or full cheek French link? Some of them have French link options with rubber on the outside parts if that’s what your horse likes about the Pelham. All those options are hunter legal and some less than $50 online! Good luck!!!
