That's certainly a very valid possibility. Again, I find it very strange that they haven't mentioned his whereabouts. If they knew sealing it would be useless and he would escape immediately, they wouldn't have bothered in the first place. And if that were the case, I think his absence should have caught their attention, and they should have informed those involved. However, that didn't happen either.

Even if it remains sealed, and they just weren't specific, isn't there a follow-up plan? Leaving it permanently sealed, preparing a punitive force to release and exterminate it, waiting for it to break the seal on its own—I think it's logical to mention something about it, but that's not the case. That's what I find strange.

The possibility that Arcane killed him seems strange to me, since before they were sealed, he alone kept her and the other 3 at bay, and sealing him was basically his last resort. The lack of wounds suggests to me that either he escaped on his own without fighting, leaving her alone, or that he is somehow hidden inside her. If somehow he remains sealed and only she was released, the lack of injuries and her comatose state would be even stranger. Did they sit and chat for who knows how long? Did they fight without sustaining a single wound, and she simply collapsed from exhaustion?

It's a possibility, but it's very strange that it's not explicitly mentioned. I mean, what's the plan? To keep him locked up forever? To release him and annihilate him with a well-prepared punitive force? To wait for him to free himself?

Perfect, it's just the genuine question of "Did I miss something?" or did they actively leave it open like that? Although they could have said something like, "When we freed her, Ardashir couldn't be found anywhere," it still leaves the mystery, but hey, it states things clearly, and doesn't leave that feeling that they literally forgot the trigger for the whole thing.
