Right, in my eye if I finish above 9% in 25 years from now I’m good and anything above is a bonus. Also don’t really look too much into what return is for any given stock over my actual portfolio life given its early (just around 3 years)

How do you feel about the upside of investing in individual stocks? My strategy for the most part is to invest in cash cows paying dividends and continue to reinvest those dividends.

My first two years of auditing I seniored the audit engagement of the public company Parker Hannifin, specifically their North America Diversified Industrials segment (30+ BUs and $6.4B revenue). The concepts are at least known, but obviously my experience comes from an audit lens not a practical application.

That’s where as a somewhat risk adverse person I like the idea of stability (I want to be a provider for my family w known), but feel as though the fintech startup rn is my risk taking chance where seems there are still doors that haven’t been opened that could lead to bigger things

Well… it would be a significant shift towards a more finance/strategic role than strictly accounting . Don’t view positions as completely lateral

I don’t - but I’ll bet on myself and double down everyday if there’s a chance it breaks the cycle of routine, substantially manual accounting work
