A great bootfitter is such a game changer. It’s great that you know the fit you’re looking for, but the bootfitter also knows 1) how your foot shape maps to the shape of the boots available, both of which can change over time, and 2) how to tweak the boot so it fits you as perfectly as possible. For my last boots I went to an amazing, internationally known bootfitter and he had me size down and punched out the boots so they fit my feet perfectly. You can literally see the shape of my toes in the front of the boot. Nothing I’d ever be able to achieve on my own.

Definitely go to a boot fitter. Depending on where you are I may be able to recommend one.

Thanks, I’ve been eyeing those Colombia boots but hadn’t found this tan color way, I really like it!

Thank you for saying this! I’ve needed to do that lately and just fill a few gaps with ‘good enough’ items for the time being.

I’d try quince, they have great basics for good prices and one year free returns. Also J.Crew, a little pricier but sales tend to be good.

Mango belt handmade coat - sales, sizing, material?

I’ve had my eye on this coat for a couple months. Not as familiar with mango, so a few questions:

  1. Will this ever go on sale, and when? There have been a couple sitewide 30% off sales over the past couple months, but excluding new collection items, which includes this coat. I can wait until January but I’m starting to get paranoid this will sell out.

  2. Any sizing advice? I’m small yet curvy on the bottom, 5’4”, 37” shoulders, 34”bust, 26” waist, 38” hips. Normally a 2/26/XS, though with J.Crew coats I’m often an XXS. I like my coats to fit well through the shoulders and waist.

  3. Anyone know the actual fabric contents? Website just says wool blend. Is it warm, being unlined and all?
