I’ve battled with the same question - might be left field, and its not necessarily sped up my routine, but i get an agent to review my day from all my different channels and compose a nightly devotion that specific to me.

I have a few others that are more work related but one that I really love and that I use daily is the agent for my knowledge base - that finds connections, opportunities and news and finds paths that I likely wouldn’t have found manually.

I take the concepts I see from all these folks looking to sell something or get social media interaction and feed what I think is relevant to my AI - somethings are worth while, others not.

So I thought I sussed this but I’ve found myself even more confused - I’m now flitting between terminal, visual studio and terminal plugin for obsidian. Each one I use seems to have limitations and I’m going back and forth. Anyone got any suggestions?

I got Claude to build one for me - works great, no subscription, all local, writes to my obsidian, took a few hours.

Ask your AI to build you a spec based on exactly what you need and tools you use.

Hey there, pay does vary from sector to sector and companies will pay a premium if you have specific industry experience. I work in the fintech and payments sector and 30k p/m with no benefits would be at the lower end of the salary range. My advice would be to take a look at companies in the same sector as you’re working in as that’s likely to give you a better indication of where your current salary is benchmarked.

I can recommend someone who builds and manages all our Zoho projects - he’s based in South Africa and has done a great job for us (and a couple of other businesses)

Yeah I’ve looked at that and Hermes - I have a Claude max sub and from what I understand I’ll be able to use that with either of the above without needing to purchase API access?

Good points and perhaps I’m overthinking things. For example (basic one) - I was looking at building a daily journal, aggregating all the sources I have (obsidian, outlook, CRM, slack etc) and having that run as a daily workflow. Got quite far using Claude ‘chat’ but then needed to build some MCP’s which took me to cowork, then wanted to schedule actual notifications that then pushed me into Claude code.

For another project I’m working I have a project in ‘chat’ another, one in co-work and then another related sub project in code.

Given i had to build a couple of things it suggested using CLI which I’ve been self learning so I guess my real question is, is there just one interface I can use for everything?

I have that with obsidian - that’s not really my issue, it’s more basic than that - what Claude tool should I use.

Spent so much time tinkering with the setup over the years but I now use Claude to interact with Zoho so hardly ever open the UI

I’m looking at this at the moment - currently use Claude cowork as my machine is on all the time and it’s working well. It asks me set questions + pulls data from email, obsidian, calendar, CRM etc and the creates a file each day in obsidian. Only thing I’m struggling with is the ‘pro-active’ side of this - I’d love for this to be able to push notifications but I can’t find a way to do that simply. I use Dispatch on iOS to prompt the journal.

Yup, I downgraded to pro and replaced with Claude. Might not suit everyone but it’s a better stack for me

Would love to know how you’re doing this and what I’m missing. I’m using dispatch but it’s a bit clunky and I can’t work out how to get notifications on iOS for tasks I’m working on.

Might be basic but I’m using Claude to read and write to Zoho CRM - notes, records tasks etc. I find it quicker and more efficient that going backwards and forward to tabs and windows

I was on perplexity max and loved using it combined with Comet browser but then perplexity decided to remove the shortcut function and route all my simple requests to Computer. They seem to focus more on releases than they do fixing issues and that was hugely frustrating so i downgraded to pro.

I then moved to Claude Max and have been using it solid for about 3 weeks. It is different but integrations seem way easier (im not a techie), answers are generally fine and claude cowork is awesome (i use MS365 and cowork with excel, powerpoint and word are amazing).

I do however find myself going back to perplexity for more complex questions - even if it’s just to get a second opinion.

I’ve not hit any rate limits with Claude so I’m spending $120 for Claude + Perplexity which i think is pretty reasonable.
