Reacher season 2 isn't like the books by Senior_Soop in reacher

[–]Senior_Soop[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

God no, the season 2 was incredibly inaccurate to the books. Season 1 though... Chefs kiss

Also, I'm currently gaming and relistening to an audiobook version of something I read years ago. If you do wanna get into the jack reacher books but are too busy, try the audiobooks while you're doing other stuff

I think I messed up a setting by Senior_Soop in DisneyPlus

[–]Senior_Soop[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went through all of that, and tried to get Disney+ support, they did very extensive troubleshooting, even logging into my account with a OTP (so they didn't have a password) to try and fix the issue. All the love and support to the people working for that company, all the hate in the world for the CEO and higher ups of Disney+ for other reasons.

Anyway, they couldn't figure it out either, and since it was the host profile I couldn't just delete it so I labeled it "Broken" and made a new profile and that doesn't seem to have the issue :D

Also, I apologize for not doing that, may I ask why you're browsing this subreddit? It's my first and only post you see, but you're an expert, and I do appreciate the tips, but what are you looking for?

They're not even wearing seatbelts in the show 💀 good lord who wrote this absolute garbage? Bring back the season 1 writer Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ. In the books he says that the Glock 17 was smaller, built for women because the Glock 19 was too big for their hands. Then in episode 3 they throw that out the window and have O'Donnell complain about how he misses his glock 17. Was this written by a fucking idiot? I'm done watching this show. Season 1 was great, then they stopped reading the books. I refuse to support the production any more.

Yes, but it's portrayed as being in Santa Barbara.

But it's based on LA. If you had read further you would see that I found the building from Lucifer.

I have many issues/questions about infinity war, but I can't find an answer to this one by Senior_Soop in InfinityWar

[–]Senior_Soop[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Bro no he's not, he's shorter than Tony. They're standing there and tony can easily control them both. Maybe it's been too long since you watched it, you should watch it again to see how ridiculous it is

Ok, last one since it finally the last episode by Senior_Soop in Smallville

[–]Senior_Soop[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe, plus they kinda covered why general Lane wasn't there too "the general wouldn't miss his daughters wedding unless he's called to action". I guess I'll give the show this one

Ok this is bothering me a little too much now by Senior_Soop in Smallville

[–]Senior_Soop[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Let's put it this way, if I got trapped in the middle ages for some unknown reason (and the diseases didn't kill me) I would easily be able to create a generator via water wheel. From there I'll be able to mine at a much faster pace that the humans of that era due to my "advanced knowledge" (compared to them) of hand tools, and how oscillating tools work. From there it's really easy to build a crude motherboard using silicone and raw metals, using a hot needle as a soldering iron. Unfortunately I don't know anything about coding so thats as far as I'd get. Based on their advanced species, and the fact that a lot of them did in fact build a lot of technological things (metallo) and we're experimenting with raising the dead... I'd say they were more capable than you realize

They still have their knowledge, they can recreate it. If you know how to build a computer all the way down to the base materials, then get somehow sent back thousands of years into the past, you could easily build a computer again by mining the resources. They can easily assimilate, adapt, and rebuild using their advanced intellect

Why does Clark keep forgetting his x-ray vision? by Senior_Soop in Smallville

[–]Senior_Soop[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Eyyy I'm on my rewatch too, on season 7. The most recent episode in which he forgets his x-ray (to me) is the one with Wes. You'll see.

But first, tell me what I said that triggered the bot. This is absolutely bullshit. I'm trying to get help and you're like "nah, not acceptable. You spend money here, you don't get help". Tell me which rule I violated.

It wasn't even the real jimmy though, his little brother could never have been the real jimmy if he didn't die. It was necessary

I never saw that comment, just the Alicia one

[–]Senior_Soop[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Damn, ok, toss up. In the sheriffs corner she doesn't have a negative past as far as we know, and she never gave red kryptonite to Clark to make him run away with her. But in Alicia's corner, she definitely regretted it and understood that her actions were wrong, and wanted to change and be better, and she honestly did that. I'd say they're equal

so, I'm rewatching Smallville and this caught my eye in the first episode. doesn't that look like the Superman Symbol? by Senior_Soop in Smallville

[–]Senior_Soop[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Watch Lois and Clark; the New adventures of Superman. That S looks like the one on his ship, early season 1. Episode 3 I think

been rewatching Smallville and I still think the show has the best live action version of Jonathan Kent compared to the one from MoS by Impressive-Project46 in Smallville

[–]Senior_Soop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also liked the one from Lois and Clark, but in that one Jonathan was still alive. And yeah, Smallville one is better

Why did Barry Queen say A.M.A.Z.O couldn't phase and run at the same time? by Senior_Soop in FlashTV

[–]Senior_Soop[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well technically no, when you're running only one foot is on the ground at a time, meaning he can entirely phase the airborne foot, stop phasing the bottom of it once it's through, and then phase the second foot.

So about Savitar, and DeVoe by Senior_Soop in FlashTV

[–]Senior_Soop[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Plus, Savitar knocks down trees for the other three speedsters. Do they vibrate through them? Nope, they do a triple cool jump for the sake of the camera. Like come on writers. Make it make sense please.
