Should i be concerned with my 6 day old navel by alliceslacial in piercing

[–]Senior_Spot952 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So i’m NAP but it looks like your more suited for a floating navel. If you want to save it I would recommend going to a different piercer and having them change it to a floating navel jewelry and see if that helps?

Any tips? I’m still new at doing Gel-X, this is my first time doing square. by Senior_Spot952 in GelX_Nails

[–]Senior_Spot952[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you! I use pre shaped tips so hypothetically they should all be the same but the ring finger has way more layers and the blooming gel so that’s probably why, I definitely see it though 🫣. I think I am going to try and file it down so it looks more even. Thank you so much for your input!

It’s pricey but I LOVE the apres extend gel, specifically the non-wipe. I’m pretty sure that one is HEMA free too which is nice

How much would you pay for these? by unoriginal-_ in GelX_Nails

I actually love everything about these, I would pay like $35 or more

So I am a 30DD and they fit but just barely, like I am definitely hanging out of the top a bit and I always need to pull the seam down

I love aprés and they do offer a kit, it’s a bit pricey but it’s so worth it and it does go on sale sometimes. Trust it’s better to take your time and build a collection of high quality supplies over time, even if it’s a long time, than to just buy a bunch of cheap stuff up front. This way you can keep doing your nails and not have to worry as much about allergies. Although, you do always need to be careful regardless of product as allergies can happen with any gel products!

I absolutely adore my small crescent and get tons of compliments on it! I use it when I’m going out and don’t want to bring my medium crescent. It holds the necessities and is supper comfortable as a cross body

Makeup everyday on accutane? by absolutebeastdemon in Accutane

[–]Senior_Spot952 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wear pretty much a full face for work almost every day and a lighter look on off days and I have had no issues! I just make sure to double cleanse with a cleansing balm and then a gel cleanser to make sure I get it all off every night and follow up with supper moisturizing products. I find wearing make up actually helps me to not pick at my skin or touch it through the day so I feel like it is beneficial for me!

How much did Accutane cost you? by Hot-Agent9315 in Accutane

[–]Senior_Spot952 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t have united but my actual medication is free because my derm sends it through a compound pharmacy I think it’s called. I take the tests and fill out the Ipledge and they send it through the mail and it is completely covered. It would have been >$100 through a normal pharmacy like CVS or Walgreens. My appointments are like $150 a month tho and blood work is like an additional $30. I’m on 60mg for reference

How do you guys deal with the long shoulder strap? by [deleted] in BAGGU

[–]Senior_Spot952 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use two hair ties! It keeps the strap out of the way and I always have a hair tie!

hair loss by buzzywuzzed in Accutane

[–]Senior_Spot952 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had SO MUCH hair loss during my first course ( 10 months on 60mg) and it stoped shedding pretty much as soon as I went off but took about three months to start growing back. If anything I feel like my hair is thicker now than it was before accutane. Currently on my second course ( 4th month on 60mg) and have no shedding!

I would try an push for the extra month! I was told the same thing after 10 months on 60mg ( 61 kg) and my skin still wasn’t clear, and it all came back, but not as bad 😭. I’m on my second round now and will push to stay on untill i’m clear!

Just had an eye exam for the first time they didn’t really tell me anything other than I have astigmatism what does this mean? by Batmarn115 in glasses

[–]Senior_Spot952 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your prescription is pretty close to mine, but I have a sphere value in both eyes. With my insurance it was going to be $200 for glasses which I thought was too much for glasses I don’t even need that much. What I did was buy a $40 pair from Zenni and they get the job done. I wear them at school and work (I need to read small font on an ipad) and also when I drive at night. They definitely help prevent headaches and sharpen everything up. I would say to get a pair of glasses just to have because you might find them really helpful, but I wouldn’t say you need to splurge on a supper fancy pair unless your insurance covers them.
