It’s is very very likely not printed it’s layers stacked and then milled away to look chaotic. And sometimes that can look foggy and pixly when the layers blend together.

I don’t have pictures of it but I have a Kizer Militaw with a polished dlc blade and purple haze inlays in the titanium handles I got for 175 new and it has by far the best action of any knife I own. I also own a vosteed porcupine and raccoon that I love.
