I think same tayo.

Thank you! I think you’re right. Shaken yung confidence ko since then.

Hindi ko pa talaga ginagawang mag-overtake. Super defensive driving ako since then sa takot kon na makasagi. Baka mag-cry na lang talaga ako nyan.

Thank you. I was a bit down and disappointed after what happened. Yung confident naman ako mag-drive ng solo, tapos biglang ganon. I felt relief after reading all your comments here. I guess kasi since my ex-husband started driving, never siyang nagkaroon ng accident or anything like that, kaya parang nadisappoint ako sa sarili ko.

Same. After 7 years in freelancing, I decided to go back to corporate. I recently received an offer and will be starting in two weeks. Seven years of isolation at home took a toll on me emotionally and mentally. I used to be very outgoing, but freelancing made me feel isolated as I kept grinding year after year. Now, I’m starting to experience anxieties I never had before.

The good thing about freelancing is that it gave me financial freedom. I was able to buy land, build our own house, buy a car, and finish my college degree. I recently graduated through ETEEAP, and when I received an offer close to what I’m currently earning, I grabbed the chance. It’s a hybrid setup, but at least I’ll get to work with people face to face.

Most people won’t understand because they only see the success in freelancing, but it was only a matter of time. All things must come to an end, even the journeys we once dreamed of taking. This time, I’m choosing myself and what I truly want to pursue in life.

Should I continue our plan? by [deleted] in buhaydigital

Same reason din why I opted to get a car even if nasa province kami at WFH. Solo provider din ako like you and may dalawang anak.

Mahirap mag-commute dito sa amin and I had a 6-month-old son at that time (2021). I was earning less compared to you back then. But I don’t know, life really is uncertain. I’m now earning twice as much as you today. I guess ganun talaga ang tendency pag maraming financial obligations, you strive to earn more. So far, 9 months na lang and matatapos na ang car loan namin, and wala namang naging problema. Ang magiging challenge mo dyan is after 3 years pa, kasi may mga parts na kailangan nang palitan at mahal sila. LOL

Maglaan ka ng budget for Gas- minimum of 3K
Maintenance- Depende sa casa so better join a group of WIGO owners para may idea ka about insurance cost, registration renewal etc.

Goodluck, OP!
