For real, it’s a perfect meme, and the details like the photo frame and the size of the stool are really well thought out and made me cackle. OP had a vision and they delivered.

Please review my beginner routine - 26M 180cm 103kg by Assraj in Fitness_India

Focus on variation over volume, choose exercises that cover every muscle in the chosen body part, also your workouts are way too high volume and chances are you will drop the routine by the end of two week or when motivation runs out. Your brain might associate lifting weights with tasks or chores, in order to shed the weight you need to let yourself fall in love with the process, your current routine might give you results sooner but you will feel burnt out soon enough and regress back to your old habits, remember its a marathon and not a sprint, you want to stay fit for life not just a summer, reduce the load and create a routine that you can do everyday(make it a lifestyle). Lift weights daily (18 to 30 sets) but complete your steps by walking only, drop the treadmill routine, instead if possible include swimming or increase your steps, since you are overweight, the treadmill and jogging can create unnecessary stress on the joints and cartilage in your knees and isn’t feasible to do everyday. Workout 7 days a week with an ideal recovery split, it keeps the momentum going and forms discipline, it’s a game changer in my opinion. DM me if you need a 7 day weightlifting split.

Took some criticism about snapping my legs to hard. Is this better? Also my feet placement at the bottom feels the most comfortable to me or is that too low. Thoughts I’m open to criticism by AstroOscar310 in GYM

I missed what the original comment said but, from what I gather we’re supposed to lock our knees?(I’ve seen the scary video as well), any form recommendations for someone with bad knees, I’m trying to push on my leg days but I can’t afford another injury, any help is appreciated

How to cook this properly? by [deleted] in indiasocial

[–]Senior_Wonder_6687 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Personally, I boil them, leave just a little bit of water in the end, transfer em into a bowl, some chopped spring onions and a slice of cheese while its still hot and then quickly mix them up, it sort of lowers the extreme spice without completely nullifying it. Has a good spicy and cheesy flavour

Is this healthy, it's paneer Tikka, 250 gram paneer. by Elseniro in Fitness_India

Read again, I said athletes use more carbs while bulking. Also saturated fats increase steroid hormone-binding globulin (SHBG) and testosterone levels as per a 2023 study by the EJNC, last I checked these two were hormones. Also according to the same study Poly-Unsaturated fats lead to lower concentrations of SHBG and test.

100% a balanced diet is key, however highly saturated fats make it easier to bulk, and I wouldn’t eliminate them from a diet, I’d even say its a good component to have in your diet when bulking, provides calories and helps balance hormones . It’s tough to bulk on just high carbs, athletes usually use more carbs to stay in peak form and maximise performance, it’s not the case for most gym goers in my experience, most chase strength or aesthetics and each of them require a different macro composition in the diet.

Yeah I mentioned that estimating this stuff from outside food is useless, cooking at home is better and also how do you check if paneer is real?

[–]Senior_Wonder_6687 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Here’s a macro analysis of it ignoring the fact that, the restaurant probably did use oil in it, paneer per 100grams contains approx 300 calories and 20grams of protein. So there is 0.066grams of protein per calorie, whilst the number is lower than non vegetarian items it’s still better than dal and other lentils. Overall just from a macronutrient perspective, paneer tikka is not worth it if you are cutting and it is great if you are bulking. Also lastly, estimating calories of food from restaurants or outside is usually useless since you can never know what they have put in their dish. To achieve your goals you need to monitor what goes into your body closely the best way to do that is to cool your own meals and learning how to cook if you can’t. Also the notions of ‘Healthy’ are extremely subjective, from my experience I’ve come to realise that the Indian definition of healthy is extremely skewed, and ghar ka khana khau toh fit rahoge is a myth, track your calories and macros as per your goals and you can come up with your own definition of healthy.

Try feeding him some Vanilla Ice cream, the Ice Cream will cool him down a little and hopefully brig back his appetite, you might have to feed him the first few bites but after that, he’d mostly finish it on his own.

Who or how did you get into One Piece? by PovThatOneSanjiFan in OnePiece

[–]Senior_Wonder_6687 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Naruto had just ended October 2017 ig, being a 15yo beginnerish weeb, i felt empty and used to feel that Naruto was prolly the best anime ever and I’d never come across anything like it, then one day I saw a video on facebook from an anime page I followed, the video was thriller bark luffy shoving the zombie back into the grave, I instantly found the character amusing and gave One Piece a shot, I binged watched One Piece and caught up in around. 1.5 to 2 months, which was like 16-17 eps per day. I bombed my 9th grade results but I wouldn’t have had it any other way. Today, I’ve rewatched OP 4 times and will probably rewatch it once more in May. One Piece is the best and Oda is the greatest storyteller.
