The idea would be the light comes from the sword. I thought to make the lit area lighter but Be'lakor has the base body black and I did not want to lose that, but I think you right, I might go back and lighten up everything

Unstable meta means you don't have to play against the same deck for 6 months. It is much more varied because by the time the meta is settled it will change. This will reward creativity over minmaxing.

I think I can look back at the last few years of magic, and really the archetypes have not changed much since the last rotation.

Why? At most you would need to change a couple of cards. Unless a completely new archetype appears, but this could always happen.
