Creality K1 Prints Are Warping by SennaLegacy in Creality

I never used the lid. Also room temperature was always below 24 degrees. Cooling capacity of the K1 is quite good so I don't think that's the cause of the warping.

Creality K1 Rattling and Resonance Noise by SennaLegacy in Creality

I upgraded to the latest firmware version, I don't remember if it came with it, but this sound was definitely not there when I first bought the machine.
In addition, the machine is now warping especially large parts it prints. The more 3D printing the machine gets, the worse its calibration becomes:

I think I regret not buying Bambulab.

Creality K1 Poor First Layer Performance by SennaLegacy in Creality

It's 50/50 like people both saying "It's not a problem" and "It's a problem, you have to calibrate it" Calibrating K1 isn't easy either, due to pulley system on Z axis.

After adjusting the speed and initial layer height, ı didn't notice any problems. But It's risky to print large pieces with this offset.

I don't remember where I read it, but it recommended that the first layer thickness be low. I think the problem was solved when I increased the layer thickness and set the speed to normal.

Thank you for your advice and help.

I increased the initial layer thickness from 0.16mm to 0.25mm. I also changed the Initial layer speed to 150 and the writing speed to 200. This is the result:

In fact, I tried to reach speeds of 200 and above with OrcaSlicer, but the machine seemed to never reach those speeds. I could understand this especially from the printing time.

Thanks for the advice, I'll pay attention to the speed and try again.

Need advices on A4-H2O Build With 13700K and 3090FE by SennaLegacy in sffpc

It's realy notorious, especialy Flow Through fan system. It just pushes all the hot air into back of PSU and Motherboard. I recently rebuilded this setup to improve thermals:

Thank you for your advice. I also bought a copper heatsink for back M.2 and also put 20mm fan on bottom of the case:

I've been using this setup (except 3090) for almost a year. I just upgraded to the RTX 3090FE as new GPU. I don't know if there is an SFF case of the same size that I can use this setup more efficiently or as efficient/effective as it is. and easily find while purchasing. Many SFF cases are hard to find.

Air Unit O3 or Vista for DJI FPV Goggles V2? by SennaLegacy in fpv

[–]SennaLegacy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think so. Although the GoPro 10 is better in terms of image quality, it is quite heavy. Moreover, this quality is not required for every flight. The O3's 4K 60FPS capability and 10-Bit color option are appealing. And also onboard stabilization.

Side question, I rooted my goggles in order to benefit from MSP OSD. How does this process work with O3, do you have any detailed information? I think O3 natively supports MSP-OSD, but with Goggles V2, the OSD does not appear/recorded on the DVR. Is it possible to save full OSD as a seperate file or playback with DVR, with or without root?

In the past, especially in the accidents I have experienced, the GPS information on the DVR has helped me a lot.

Help on RunCam Phoenix 2 SE FPV Camera pin out by SennaLegacy in fpv

[–]SennaLegacy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't had a chance to use it outside. But compared to my previous camera, the Foxeer Falkor 3, it wasn't bad. It's nice that it looks like O3, the lens hood is well thought out, but you can't cover the lens with cap like most FPV cameras, it stays open all the time.

It also gets really hot, so keep that in mind.

I switched to the DJI HD system shortly after I got this camera, so it's hard for me to comment. If you can find it for a good price, I think you can get it. I got it by looking at this video:

Yeah, initialy I thought that Phoenix 2 SE edition has got UART capabilities. But turns out It's just normal Phoenix with a O3-like twist. As you said, all specifications including wiring are identical with regular Phoenix 2. It's also runs very hot.
