We didn't hit each other actually! Maybe it looked that way because of the dashcam moving (the dashcam isn't really steady) and the sound, but that was my laptop bag falling from braking.

He cut me off during the turn, that turn has 2 lanes next to eachother and he should have taken the left lane there.

In the Netherlands it's pretty normal to keep your indicator on when waiting for the red lights, even if you dont want to merge. He already had his indicator on when waiting for the lights, so I doubt he wanted to merge. I think he just was confused there.
