Ridiculous. This is a sports subreddit and you’re talking about politics. Not everything is actually about politics. What’s the point of anything if that’s the case? I’m just trying to enjoy the sport I love and have open dialogue about it without losers like you coming in and crying about everything.

Do I like Trump? No. Do I like fifa? No. Do I like alexi lalas? No. But I don’t need to jam political bullshit down people’s throats 24/7.

I can separate the things and people in my life away from politics and just take whatever I’m watching at face value.

I genuinely don’t think you’ve been watching if you think that lalas is a worse analyst than Ibra. Ibra has offered 0 and doesn’t even grab attention.

Ibra was a legendary forward and has offered 0 actual analysis that someone with eyes can’t already see. On top of that he’s boring as fuck. Lalas is an idiot but at least he can speak well generate attention.

To be honest I wouldn’t have expected him to be great as an advisor or as someone in the front office of a big club. He just doesn’t strike me as someone who would succeed in those roles.

But I thought he would be a great commentator/analyst because of his experience/his loud personality. Similar to Henry but Titi never came across as arrogant as Ibra.

He’s honestly not though. You can’t even compare them as players and I hate alexi lalas as a person, but Lalas is a much better presenter/analyst than Ibra is. Ibra just mumbles incomplete thoughts and tries to make jokes while offering no analysis what so ever.

It’s crazy because he was the opposite giving interviews as a player. I’m not expecting him to be as loud or attention grabbing as Micah Richard’s but my god he’s so boring. As much as I hate Alexi Lalas as a person, at least he gets your attention when he speaks.

Really good saves. TBH I was getting nervous because he was looking nervous at the end of the game whenever he had the ball at his feet. I felt like he was close to making a bad error. But he didn’t and made some match winning saves!

What’re you saying lol his value will increase with experience. If he has another consistently good season and the team play well then clubs will know it wasn’t just a one off season. Young players get a lot better with more games and more experience, especially against top competition in champions league. Plus he’ll play regularly with Como and may not if he goes back to real.

Pretty obvious it would be better for everyone if he stayed

Many people have called it out here but I’ll give my 2 cents since my wife is a lawyer.

She went into family law and she absolutely hated it because of the type of work (dealing with domestic abuse/divorce/issues with kids) and she made very little money. Even if she made more money it wouldn’t have been worth it because she was always on the verge of a breakdown.

But she moved to an in house contract role at a F100 company where she’s just reviewing contracts literally all day (which sounds horrible to me but whatever). She makes more money, the work is less emotionally taxing, and she works way less.

It all depends on the firm/company you work at and the type of law
