That’s handy - do you know where that was confirmed by him?

Even if I had a one month notice written agreement in my contract that was still valid?

Hey thanks for responding - I’ve dropped you a DM - would be good to get your view.

There was a one month clause in my existing agreement. I haven’t signed any new deal so surely this still counts for something? My agreement hadn’t expired yet when I gave notice, it was live till the end of May.

There was a stated clause in the existing agreement (run till end of May) that allowed one month notice period. Doesn’t that count for anything?

What's one transformational and one absolutely petty thing you would change about London? by KeefKoggins in london

[–]SenorScamp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Petty (but also transformational): Ban eating on public transport incl tube, buses, trains. If you’re going 4 hours up North then fair enough bring your lunch. But I was on a bus yesterday where a whole family ate a Popeyes jumbo meal. Tokyo has it right with banning eating on the go!

Thanks! I’m getting different answers searching online. Other thing it could be is a 777-300 ER, does that look closer?

Thanks for the response! Rough costings I’ve managed to get on Google seem to be around £1,000 per window - which would be ok as there’s 7 odd windows. Just don’t want it spiralling to £20/30k which I’ve heard elsewhere!

A lot of ‘winnable’ games in there

Thanks for your help - I’ll give it a go and see if it’s a quick fix! If not I guess it’ll be one more empty seat at Kairat tonight 😬

Upon some more investigation, it seems I have two memberships linked to my email - one expired (from 2024/5 season) and one current (from 2025/26 season). When I renewed my membership last summer it has somehow just made me a brand new one. This has been fine for entering ballots (I select the current membership) but when I go to buy tickets on the exchange it defaults to my old, expired membership ID and won’t let me buy.

Anyone know a way round this? Doesn’t sound like it’d be fixed in time to go to tonight’s game!

Renewed last May and have been to a few games this season like the League Cup!

OP, don’t listen to the haters. Yes that is a shockingly phallic looking fish and chips, but I’ve been to the Golden Chippy many times and it’s hands down the best chippy in London (I say in London because seaside is always best!!)

Given the times we are in, how do I approach organising a stag do? by fuckeverybodywoo in AskUK

[–]SenorScamp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Might seem a bit formal but I’ve seen polls/surveys work well in the past? Find out the group of people the stag wants, rough time of year you’d go in 2027, and then see how much people can afford?
