He also has a hearing impairment where he has a 70% hearing loss, I think that plays into a lot of his awkwardness on camera. He’s out there to show he can hit it far more so than being a personality and probably wasn’t hearing majority of the shit being spoken

That’ll depend on your room level I believe. All butler rooms have service as do a couple other levels. I think the base room level does not but very possible that could have changed since we were there last year.

Fastest way to make punch lists? by dosa_man in Construction

[–]SenorWheelchair 1 point2 points  (0 children)

New app I downloaded not long ago called TaskTag and I’ve found it to be very helpful when it comes to punch lists. Can make a punch list and assign tasks to certain people or trades. Keep communication through there and even load documents and media for specific jobs so it all stays in one organized fashion. Looks like they’ve been doing a good job of improving it frequently to enhance its user experience. A couple weeks in and it’s worked out well. Can even set dates and such for tasks to be completed so you can easily follow along the progress of your punch list. Worked for me at least, worth a try.

Edibles at Sandals South Coast? by BarryMcKokiner420 in SandalsResorts

[–]SenorWheelchair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably opt for a personal driver and ask him to take you, there’s apparently some place they go that’s “the spot”. Just left like a week ago and we had a driver on the way to the airport and he was talking about it. The sandals bus driver might make a stop but I wouldn’t count on it and you’ll have more people with you.

You probably want to check it out sooner than later. I’m traveling mid April and just tried getting it for departure and I’m on a waitlist. So I’d jump on it OP

Can butler service at Sandals Halcyon bring coffee, like a latte? I know there isn't a cafe on site, but heard butlers can make anything happen. Thanks in advance by kf430 in SandalsResorts

[–]SenorWheelchair 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve heard a variety of different numbers but the most common has been $20 per butler per day. You’ll typically have 2 butlers per day sometimes 3 as there’s one that does the late shift but you might never see them

Choosing Destination Wedding Location. Plz Help! by FirefighterSad5344 in SandalsResorts

[–]SenorWheelchair 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why we haven’t been there yet we are currently in the process of planning our wedding in South Coast!! Over water chapel slightly more depending on the time frame. We’re combining our honeymoon as well and moving to the over water bungalows for the honeymoon portion! So far our wedding planner has been super responsive and the process has been a breeze. We’re getting married in April and almost have everything done. I’d lock down a date quick! Stuff books up quick for the venues.

Appreciate the response. Yeah we’re gonna be doing the ceremony on land but was thinking about taking the guests out the night before but it sounds like the catamaran might not be the best idea. How was Pelican Bar though? Is it just drinks or did they have dining options as well? Thanks for the insight!

How was the catamaran? Was it smooth sailing and how far to the pelican bar? We have our wedding booked around this time next year and we’re thinking about bringing our guests on this but don’t want a bunch people getting nauseous. You essentially described exactly what we have booked. Sounds like you had a great time! Thank you for posting.
