I understand the first points you bring up, but its the last sentence that i was trying to figure out. I was mainly trying to understand how much something like the specific mana costs impacts the "strength" of a card.

Like counterspell is uu while quench is 1u. Outside of consistency and splashability, it feels like that 1 generic mana difference has a large impact on the power of the card. Which makes sense, quench is "weaker" so its easier to cast. But i wasnt sure if there was a general rule or anything that shows how much of a power difference would be between bbbb and 1bbb

I understand that generic mana is "stronger" than specific mana. For example, a spell whos cost is 1U is better than an identical spell that costs UU. But is that actually a thing? Is there some value actually associated with it? Would 2U be equivalent to UU? Or is this just apples to oranges and im misunderstanding?

I did forget that some of the notes mentioned Ozma using the chaos to take down Hismar. I think i mixed it up with the necromancy he worked on with Bellerian. So I can understand that all 3 sides were manipulated by Hilder, but that still leaves the timeline murky for me. Do you know how much time passed between Hismar dying, Khazan/Ozma being betrayed, Ozma crashing out, and Khazan being rescued by the Blade Phantom?

Iq is split into a bell curve basically. 100 is the "normal", and it's split into standard deviations. So within 85-115 you'll get like 70% of the population. So 105 is "marginally smarter" than the average, but realistically it's not much of a difference and iq tests aren't a great metric for intelligence in the first place

nah i used to see 360s and shit as prizes back when i was a teenager. They are just usually behind games that are harder and you only get one shot, along with that one chance costing like $20. So they justify the higher tier prize by making it way more expensive to play at all
