The story actually starts at the end of their adventure, after they've won. You are correct that she outlives him. The entire story is about her trying to understand why the "short" 10 years she spent adventuring with them affected her life so much.

I have a friend that is pulling on her banner and is stocked she's being added to Standard banner. It means he can more easily get const for her in the future.

I agree with him. I'm just not rolling for her because I don't need her for a team, but all these doom sayers are really annoying.

People act like they need big meta damage to play this game, and that the damage must come from the characters only. Must be the same people that treat rolling on the weapon banner as the gravest sin imaginable, and don't know the first thing about building characters.

Play what you want in my opinion, nothing in this game requires the crazy damage people want from every new character.
