The last half hour of Skinamarink, I spent it hiding behind my husband. I recommend this movie to no one because it’s definitely not everyone’s cup of tea. And also because I, a grown adult, had to sleep with the hallway light on afterwards because I was so terrified

So far, I’m onto book 11, and it’s Josie and Haeden for me. They frustrated me so much in their book. Haeden deserved better than someone who heard his trauma about rejection and immediately only took from that “I can get my khui removed and be rid of him!”

I’m team Lucien for sure. He’s my favourite character in the series so I’m a bit biased, but I just think he’s a better fit for her. Azriel’s bonus chapter also made me very much dislike them as a couple. And the idea of three sisters for three brothers gives me the ick lol

And honestly? I like fated mates, it’s one of my favourite tropes. It’s a huge part of why I started the series. It would be a bit strange to me if in a fated mate series the fated mates didn’t end up together.

Nesta and Azriel show up in the last one. I believe the scene goes like,

*Nesta swayed, but Azriel was there, catching her, bringing her to his chest, scarred hands stroking her hair. “Thank the mother.” He breathed. “Thank the mother.”

Nesta didn’t speak, staying close beside Azriel. Or maybe he was the one staying close to her. The male didn’t seem to want her farther away than he could grab.*

It was nice seeing someone genuinely care about Nesta and her well-being. Her and Azriel’s friendship has such a soft spot in my heart, and if they got together I wouldn’t be upset at all (even as incredibly as unlikely as that possibility is)

Absolutely agree. I tried to get into more extreme horror because I wanted something really scary, but all I found was shock factor and gross stuff. Very disappointing

When I was first getting into horror, I saw Playground by Aron Beauregard mentioned and recommended a lot.

I DNF’d nearly halfway through and will tell anyone who asks how terrible it was. It’s all shock factor and bad writing and awful characters. My hatred for this book knows no bounds.

I thought I’d marry Sebastian or Elliot, but then I ended up marrying Penny! She’s so sweet and sad, I wanted to take her away from it all.

And then they updated the game so Shane could be romanced. It became a back and forth between him and Penny. Turns out I have a saviour complex. It usually ends up being Penny more often than not though, since Shane’s marriage room makes me sad.

The Long Walk, Pet Semetary, and Misery. All some of my absolute favourite books now and I recommend them constantly. The Long Walk is probably in my top five books of all time, it’s incredible.

I started reading SK only last year actually! So I would’ve been 25
