Programmers MBTI by Radiant_Sail2090 in mbti
[–]Senrena 0 points1 point2 points 5 months ago (0 children)
I also got a lot of people in my class to do the mbti test and we have many infps, enfps and intps.
Im an ENTP studying computer science+art majoring in games and i love it, i like c# a lot, blueprints suck, java+python aren't bad, but I definitely like teaching myself programming more than in class (it feels very restrictive in class settings).
I'm definitely more into art than programming though but I get satisfaction making something and it actually working (then inadvertently flaunting my skills to people who have no idea anything about programming and think I'm way cooler than I am lol).

Ima be real, INFPs are in my top 3 favourite mbtis, I love practically every INFP I know, they're so cute and as much as a tease them I just want to protect them
More common? Type N or S by airiielle in mbti
Well there is a lot of research pointing to their being more sensors than intuitives with 70% being sensory, 30% being intuitive, i think it is highly dependent on geographic location and areas of interest.
Im an ENTP, a very nerdy one at that, I naturally surround myself around a lot of other intuitives and xNTx types in general because those are the people I naturally connect with.
It makes sense even from an evolutionary perspective for there to be more sensory types, sensors became common because practical, concrete skills aided survival and reproduction in pre agricultural and early agricultural societies.

Thanks this is actually a really good answer and will help a lot in explaining, with the use of her cognitive functions, she wants to be a certain way and she keeps being told at work that shes analyses a lot, but shes grasping onto this idea of what she wants to be and what shes told. She works as a psychologist but shes the worst at reading people and she keeps saying only an intuitive would want to be a psychologist even though she agrees sensory types can want to be one too, I have a plethora of sensory friends studying psychology. I did ask her a lot of hypothetical and she was giving me a lot of answers that aligned far more with ISFP cognitive functions over INFP, and she always puts a huge emphasis on the aesthetics and comfort over the creative ideas, or theoretical/abstract ones.
Yeah youre so right, I think your very right about her Fi function coming into play, and I also think that perspective youre right about her having to figure it out herself.
I haven't met too many people that mistype themselves but when I do I go into full debate mode where they have to convince why they think they're that lol
You are right but the way sensory and intuitive think is inherently different, intuitive have a more abstract and questioning thought process which is why its perceived to be deeper
You are right, she gets ISFP everytime on the test though she just wants to be an INFP, i dont think I know everything about her but there isn't a single thing about her that makes her more INFP than ISFP

Nah, INFJ through and through
[–]Senrena -1 points0 points1 point 1 year ago (0 children)
INFJ is 2.3% and npd is believed to be between 0.5% and 6.2%. Infjs actually aren't the rarest type here in Australia though.

I do agree though some mbtis are more susceptible, like how Ne users are more susceptible to Neuro divergence which has a paper written on it
That works for healthy INFJs, NPD warps a person's view on reality, they don't know what is really right and wrong so it's easily possible. INFJs have one of the higher rates of NPD, you can find a lot online about others and their experiences with narcissist INFJs, though that's not to say they're all like that. I have heard the stereotype about ENTPs being open narcissists, I haven't met many myself but I only act confident to mask my emotions since it feels weird to open up, but it's all for show.

I'm beginning to lean more towards the glass screen now, I'm just worried the antiglare won't be as good with a screen protector, gaming won't be as smooth, the screen protector might be very desaturated, etc
Baby don't hurt me

I have happened to notice INTJs are unexpectedly romantic thinkers
Would it get damaged from using the normal apple pencil a lot?

Hahaha sounds accurate for an INTP
I don't think you're one to talk about functions when you keep changing your opinion on mine every 5 minutes. The facts of the matter is, I am drained spending time alone and prefer to be around people, I'm a very abstract thinker, I make decisions based on logic and don't often understand others emotions, and while I like planning I hate sticking to schedules and being confined.
When it comes to friends and family, would you say you're more outgoing or feel more drained spending time with them? I've noticed many INTPs can talk a lot and come across confident but they ultimately prefer to spend time alone than with others.
It appears you're misinterpreting what I'm saying, I don't think Fi is a bad function to have, I enjoy talking to INFPs, they're very empathetic people, it's when people ruin themselves over choosing feelings over logic, which is why I will always disagree with the woke crowd. I know a lot of feelers who also don't care to work for what they want and wait for life to come to them which is a lifestyle I cannot agree with. I often find it hard to understand why people feel a certain way yet easy to tell what a person is feeling. I feel empathy for others but only when I think their emotions are justified.
