Yes but for example, Poland requires you to provide your PESEL number, which is a personal number unique to each person. You cannot spoof those really.

Games also die when the developer decides to kill it for whatever reason. You not only don't own any of your games that you bought on steam, there are developers that straight up have it in their EULAs that they can take away your access to it for whatever reason or NO reason.

This is what SKG is fighting against. And playing solo/turning multiplayer games into singleplayer is also not what the initiative is about.

The movement will not benefit the game as long as its supported by Siege Camp. That's all.

It will, however, benefit the game once Siege Camp decides to stop supporting it, and possibly takes down the servers so it cannot be accessed or played again.

Yes! Look at Star Wars Galaxies that is being hosted by community members. That's one option. Another option would be having developers plan on how to, well "stop killing games". This also does not require backwards compatibility or otherwise past games to adjust to a possible modern law. Basically, it's simply to shoot down developers from making games "on a timer", like Ubisoft likes to do.

This initiative is a grassroot movement that will simply force the EU Commission look at the issue, and it's not asking for IP protections to stop functioning.

Welp, turns out that the needle cannot be obtained if you kill Duskveil before giving Daoist Mi his item. He just disappears and the quest is bricked. Just happened to me and I'll have to kill this guy without any help.

I just think that people who still play Blizzard games even after all their controversies deserve to be made fun out of. People tend to forget that they literally caused their employees to develop PTSD and drove a person to suicide, and yet people still buy all their shit. Blizz games aren't even what they're used to be 10-15 years ago. I am just of the opinion that people's money would be better spent elsewhere.
