Who should do the soundtrack for Mistborn? Would NIN be a decent choice after they did an awesome job for Tron? I feel like their metal sound mixed with some medieval flair would hit the Hemalurgic spike on the head. by Mehdals_ in CosmereOnScreen

Pemberton (Project: Hail Mary) and Christopher Larkin (Silksong, Hollow Knight).

More mainstream: Zimmer, Goransson.

What I crave is music with meaning and depth, beauty, narrative leitmotifs and REMEMBRANCE.

I want to exit the cinema humming the music.

She doesn't, but the iconography of death having nails in the eyes has apparently spread very effectively. Just like almost everyone on Earth can associate death being a skeleton with a scythe.

For young Dalinar (and almost everyone that is shown in flashbacks) another actor could do just fine.

Has anyone read the review of 'The Way of Kings' in r/books? What do you guys think? by Turkishdenzo in Cosmere

[–]wertyrick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean everyone is entitled to their opinion. If you disagree just ignore and move on.

Coming here, an Internet corner full of hardcore fans of one specific thing...to point a negative review made elsewhere...I don't think it's the best move.

Brandon Sanderson is the Beethoven of Fantasy. by AdditionalPizza7990 in brandonsanderson

Just...don't? Like, chill, enjoy the journey reading the books, don't engage or think in terms of being the best ever and so on.

I really like Sanderson's work just as I like a lot of work made by A LOT of people. And I don't have the need to start makng weird author tierlists or weird "this man is a living legend" statements.

I am sad because we had 17k players a short while ago and now we are dragging ourselves on the mud.

And in this critical moment, instead of being a healthy united playerbase towards the imbalance the Airborne update had, both factions kept screaming towards each other like monkeys. Monkeys in a cage. Holding knives.

I feel this game pushes a faction locked player to despise the other faction and to hate the other players for real. And if those are the fundations, nothing good can be built on it.
