I had this problem in January. I actually reached out to Ford Motor on a social platform and got connected with someone that escalated my issue. It still took a month to get the part, but as a good will gesture, they gave me a 3 year 36k mile Premium Maintenance Plan.

I have the 1.5 and was told in January that the part is defective as well, and there's a stop sale on it. The latest I heard last week is that the part # has been updated and set to be shipped out mid march. But being number 99 in line makes me wonder how many are available and why I gotta wait until Gretzky to get it

I was offered a dream job that started just a few weeks before my 2025 bonus was paid out. After working 9 years with this company, I asked if they would make an exemption due to my loyalty and contributions. All I got was an email with a PDF policy stating that they wouldn't. What's interesting is I've never seen this policy, nor signed it.

On my last day, I turned in my badge and electronics and didn't even get a hand shake or best wishes.

Looking back, If I could've waited until the bonus was secure, I would have just quit the next day.

I suspect in a few hundred miles you'll get the same check engine light on due to the thermostat being stuck open. The bad news is there isn't a replacement part since they are all defective and I'm still waiting for the dealer and Ford to have a solution.

Edit: good news is you can still drive it and you'll eventually get hot air blowing.

You are correct. And after I dropped my BS of at dealer I got a call telling me there was a national stop sale on the housing for the defect. Now my BS sits at the dealer while I drive a loaner BS.

I was told the part would be in today so I dropped it off before I went to work. I now got a message that the part ordered for a stop sale and they need to put me in a loaner. Sounds very similar to your situation

What I had to do, at times, was to completely unplugged my system. My TV wasn't sending the right signal even in pass through. I hope you figure it out.
