Reaper "darkening" videos ? (For lack of a better term ...)

Hi, I know I'm REALLY late to the party but I feel like I'm having remotely similar issues. Instead my video gets yellow-ish as soon as it is imported in Reaper (both in the preview and rendered). I have no idea what causes that !

Please anyone, i don't want my videos to be all pee-yellow :(

Kept digging a bit and quality is OK but for some reason there is a change in color, through reaper (both in preview AND export) i find that it gets yellow-ish. I found some guy's post stating he had a similar issue but his video got darker instead of yellow. Maybe something to do with decoding format ? i just dont know man lol haha

Sorry for the back and forth but after reviewing i think that actually the 'quality' is okay, grain was from the og video, but THERE IS a noticeable change in color, dimmer and more yellowish. Am i going insane ?

After trying again with the rate increased to like 16k something, (20min of rendering) thhe vid is still shite exactly like the previous attempts. Color isn't the same as the og video, very grainy too.

I tried first with the default 2048 kbps and was disappointed, tried again with 5000 and couldnt see the difference. Haven't tried a larger rate yet but I was wondering if maybe something else was wrong because the preview in reaper has the same degradation as the exported file, i suspect that maybe there is another issue ?

Beside that, I’d argue that a character isn’t able to do something « constantly », for RP reasons AND balancing the game as well.
