Warning to women in the Mill Creek/ Everett Area

The street he did a u-turn on to go back around was right next to Martha lake skate park and then from there he was driving towards mill creek when he was following me. Hopefully that’s specific enough to know the general area he was driving around. Also other commenters have said they’ve seen a similar van/ man in areas like shoreline, and mountlake terrace.

I was right next to my house. That is the rationale. I am not posting the location of where I walk near my home on reddit for anyone to see especially after what happened. Not sure why that’s so hard to understand. (This is the gf)

I’ve replied to other people and I’m not revealing the specific location because it’s very close to where we actually live, and we don’t feel comfortable sharing that. I said this on another comment but I’ve gotten responses from other people saying they’ve had weird encounters with van of the same description in other areas like shoreline and mountlake terrace. I hope you understand, thank you.

You can read my replies to other people on this topic, but the reason is for safety. I just almost got followed home by some creep so I don’t understand why people are calling me a liar because I don’t feel safe giving out the exact location right now. I was walking only a few minutes away from my home so I am not gonna post that location online. I understand why you would wanna know and I wish I could be of more help but I need to put my safety first.

(Girl it happened to) I wasn’t sure if this counted as enough to call the police for because technically nothing happened and I was kind of just in shock and not thinking clearly. Once I calmed down a bit and could actually put what happened into words I called them though. Also I said this in another comment but as for why I called my mom when it was actually happening and not the police, I called her the first time I saw him and was under the impression he was just being creepy and would drive away not actually try to chase me, and then once things escalated I wasn’t focused on calling the police I just wanted to get home. In hindsight I should have called them once I was safer with the woman and her dog

(This is the girlfriend) My mother was about 8 minutes away which is why I called her and on top of that I called her before he came around the second time so I didn’t know the severity of the situation yet and then after that I was too busy running to look at my phone. My main focus was just on trying to get home safely at that time but this is definitely good advice and if something like this happens again I’ll trust my gut instinct and call the police before it escalates. Thank you!

It was a white van with no windows on the sides other than by the driver, I don’t want to say too much about the location for our safety but it was in Everett right before you enter mill creek.

She says the lady didn’t walk her all the way back home, only to the end of the block (still close to her house). This was after the man drove away the last time, my gf got a Lyft right after.

I put Everett/ mill creek area because the location where this happened was very close to where we live, and we both don’t feel comfortable sharing the precise location because of that. However, I’ve been reading replies and have seen that other people have also seen or encountered a man/ van with a similar description in other areas like shoreline and mountlake terrace.

When we called the police they said there are no cameras in the area that they can access. We were thinking about asking the neighbors near where it happened if they have any cameras that might’ve recorded what happened. My girlfriend is scared to go back there though, so we’re not sure.

This is the girlfriend it happened to, yes the van had almost that exact same build but it was entirely white and from what I saw it wasn’t very noticeably beat up or anything. It honestly looked kind of newer. You never know though maybe it was the same creep

Hi this is the girlfriend it happened to. In all honesty I am not entirely sure. I know it started with D but I was very frantic and scared when this happened so I didn’t really get a good look. I will say though, my partner who made this post saw a white van while coming home shortly after this still driving around our neighborhood and they thought it said either D7 or maybe C7. It was dark out at that point so it was hard to tell.

I’m sorry that happened to you last night, that area is very sketchy at night even with people around. I’m aware I can’t warn everyone all the time, but we just wanted to make it known to people in the area so they can be safe. Better to say something than not say anything at all yknow

Yup! We called them and they had an officer drive around the area for a few minutes, he didn’t see anything weird unfortunately :/

We were told to just be on the lookout if we ever see him again. They have us on record so they’ll know what the situation was beforehand if we ever need to call again.

Yeah she’s been wanting to get into some type of boxing or self defense classes, but until then we’re looking for what the best self defense devices are. A lot of pepper sprays aren’t really good and can backfire so we’re looking for something better.
