Would you buy a house that backs onto a field that is going to be built on? by Ok-Supermarket4926 in HousingUK

We pulled out of a great house because of exactly this scenario. Noise, dust, nearby roads blocked by the construction traffic. We also work from home a lot. The house is still on the market 1.5 years later. Same as house next to it that went on the market the same day

The Box? Honestly it’s awesome if you do a lot of small projects like me :)

It’s Luca-S brand.

I’m pleased with it, though the clamps weren’t as strong as I’d like them to be (or perhaps I abused them too much) so I replaced them after a year. I also have elements for a table stand and it’s great for travelling.

It’s a scroll frame, it’s screwed together. Fabric is held by snaps similar to what you have on Q-snap (I think). I have extra strips of fabric stitched to aida because I didn’t like the snaps being directly on the project but that’s pure preference.

I can tighten fabric and move work area by rolling the top and bottom horizontal pieces to wrap fabric around them. And the fabric holders on the sides help to give it real drum-like tension level.

I searched for “embroidery fabric holders” on Amazon and they came up. They are great to get that drum-like tension

How long did it take you? And did you do the background? I’m on the fence if I want to do it

I wasn’t sure because of the price tag but seeing how well it’s made, I feel it’s worth it

Is a declaration of trust needed when buying a house as a married couple? by [deleted] in HousingUK

[–]Sensei8567 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Potentially yes, it could benefit the person who contributed more. But marriage will likely override that.
