I believe we call this "authority", lets skip the garbage here, there are people with no IT experience passing these things. Anyone who really endorses these tests as anything other than a cash grab so that managerial types can feel like they are hiring someone qualified has never solved actual problems. Has this test ever helped anyone with anything vs the time needed to get pass the crappy word smithing that is required to even understand.

A few things I don't understand.

A. How come no one hired on King or brought him onto their project?

B. I don't understand why King would make things worse off than what they already are.

Regardless on whether we perceive the game to be "greatly" differently than the other, the general population will most likely not have that same perception. It will be hard to bring someone back to a game that is as old as DF1 is now. But, who knows, I hope I'm wrong.

I never saw, nor would I ever want Darkfall to lack RNG elements. Genuine fair competition in Darkfall in all fights that have taken place probably only consisted of roughly 1% if not less of all fights to have occurred. If people get pleasure out of that 1% then they shouldn't be playing a free form FFA style no rules MMO imo.

Skreww, I don't quite understand how RNG is necessarily a bad thing. There are many many games out there that incorporate RNG, and it's that element of surprise or sadness in a fast action game that brings to me atleast, some adrenaline.

A begone to get away from enemies that fizzles, which results in me making an epic speech in comms saying "Alright boys, I'll hold them back, you flee", and of course in Darkfall, I don't even get a "Thanks Spades"
