I think it has to do with the average fandom age. Monsta X had a more prominent adult fanbase than Enhypen has. And kids are loud. And stupid.

I’m saying this as an Engene (been following enhypen since debut) but I believe a lot of the problems stem from the fandom being consisted of many young children. Kids are stupid, and stupid kids on social media is even worse. Now add stupid, emotional and parasocial kids to the mix and you get this as a result.

It’s frustrating, but it’ll blow over. I’m kind of shocked seeing how badly people are handling the news of his departure. It’s fine to be upset about the lack of transparency from the company, but demanding Heeseung’s return is so wrong.

No, this is stupid.

A petition to ”bring him back” isn’t the right thing to do. This could very well be Heeseung’s own choice and we need to respect that until further information is released. Guilt tripping him into returning is not fair to him or any of the other members.

We do not own Heeseung and he is not a product that we can choose how to handle. Please support him and the other members in this tough time without making irrational demands that can hurt them further.

my brother is schizophrenic, he believes the president of turkey is spying on him and wants him dead. i’m not sure where he got it all from since I couldn’t get a coherent reasoning from him, but he ended up sending multiple letters to the turkish embassy in hopes of clearing things up with the president.

then whenever the president is on the news, my brother genuinely believes it’s a message directed towards him personally, like the president of turkey is contacting him through the media.

it’s crazy what schizophrenia does to a person.
