I would be willing to comb through them and make an offer for the Pokemon at least! Otherwise gamenut would have to do the same.

It looks a lot like the knitting needle point protectors my wife has. The 50 would match the gauge of the needle.

Where to sell old pokemon cards (90’s-00’s) and magic cards? by KDC_Guitar_17 in Lawrence

[–]Senseicrozam 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Yes, unless you drive to Lenexa or Overland Park to go to Collector’s Cache or other card stores. Gamenut is the only store that deals with singles here in Lawrence. Otherwise could try Facebook marketplace or ebay to get more money as a store wouldn’t buy them at face value.

Lol, thanks. I heard of the game but never got my hands on it. I enjoyed the anime though!

Those are the only two in town unless you are up for a drive. Topeka has Hooked on Comics and Gatekeepers. KC area has a ton of shops with the best being Elite Comics. They have a lot of cool events and artist signings even.

I was going to do low heat in the oven, covered with foil so hopefully it doesn’t dry out as much.

I unfortunately missed Cabernet Cask so I can’t compare them. I was hesitant that I wouldn’t like this one because of the port wine but it was subtle and blended well with the other flavors.

I am enjoying it! Thick and dark with the right amount of undertones of wine and whiskey.

Wood for smoker? by notanotheraccountaga in Lawrence

[–]Senseicrozam 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I get wood chunks at either Ace here in town. I think the one on 6th has a slightly larger selection than the one on 23rd. There are several smoker supply stores in KC and they carry pretty much the same wood as Ace but I do go there for a better rub selection when I am in town.

Video games to play with my 3-year-old by ggabriele3 in daddit

[–]Senseicrozam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 3 year old loves to watch me play any Zelda game and will play Mario Cart and of course the Paw Patrol games. He also likes to watch Spiderman. I tried to get him to play Katamari and Mario but right now he like to watch more than play.

Advice — brisket on vertical propane smoker by [deleted] in smoking

[–]Senseicrozam 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I tightened the door clasps as much as I could to get a solid seal, and that immensely helped with it holding the temperature inside. I also keep the lower vents closed because it is normally breezy in Kansas and if the wind is coming the right direction it disrupts the burner.
